Final Blog Post

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that this will be my final blog post on this blogsite. I will continue to blog at Conservative Moms for America. For the last five months I have tried to maintain both this blog and my writing on Conservative Moms. It takes me at least an hour to write and edit one blog post which does not leave me alot of time to post at my CMFA site. I have really been burden to slim down my activities and focus my passion in one area. I love the vision that God has given me with Conservative Moms for America. I love the members that God has steered to our site. This is where I feel led to focus my gifts and talents and so that is what I will do.

With Krystal being in the 3rd grade I must give her more attention as well. She is taking on more activities that requires my attention and support of her so I must ensure that she has my full support. I have been so blessed to have so many members read my blog. I will not be deleting the blogs that I have posted here for those who would like to come back and read what I have already written. However all my new blogs will be posted at Conservative Moms for America. It has been a blast for the last year blogging with all of you and I pray that you will continue to offer the great insights that you all do.

You can always find me at Conservative Moms or on Facebook or you can listen in to our Blog Talk Radio show every Thursday night at 9:00 pm Central. A link to all my websites are on my main page. Just say no to the GOP and Fox News.

Today as I was driving to pick up my hubby from work, I was listening to Sean Hannity's radio show, and was surprised to hear yet another banishment of candidates within the Tea Party movement or the Tea Party itself. Sean inferred in one of his comments that the Tea Party Movement is becoming a problem for the Republican Party. Recently the anchors of various other Fox News shows have attempted to impact political races across the country, where a Tea Party candidate is going against the establishment incumbent. It appears to me that Fox News is walking in very dangerous territory. But maybe not. Maybe it is we who have sent Fox News the wrong message. All of a sudden Fox News is fearful of the Tea Party Movement and somehow believes it is their role to inform the people how they should be voting.

Media in politics is not a bad thing, we garner great information from these news sources, but that is all they are suppose to be; news sources. They do not vet candidates, or control the campaigns of candidates. There is however, reason for Fox News and the establishment (they seem to be wanting to protect), to fear. Many of the candidates within the Tea Party movement hold to the principles of the Constitution and its focus on States Rights. In a panel discussion on our Conservative Moms Blog Talk radio show on February 4th we talked about what America would look like as a Constitutionally governed nation. As I heard many of the opinions and ideas that came forth, I realized why Fox News, the Republican Party, the Democratic Party and other establishment groups would want to do away with the Tea Party movement and their candidates.

This movement consist of ordinary everyday citizens who see that the current political process has failed us. Those who support the ideologies of the Tea Party movement are those who desire to return to a government, by the people, of the people and for the people. Within this movement the people select candidates they believe fit their values, they research them and vet them and then provide support in building up their campaigns. It appears from what I have noticed that somehow the GOP just may be becoming just a little bit irriated with the success of the Tea Party movement. They are becoming like little flies that won't go away.

The Tea Party movement actually has a life of its own and could very well succeed without the GOP. They could provide the American people with candidates who can bring America back to the principles of the founding fathers. They can provide us with candidates who understand the Constitution and state sovereignty and provide us with the means of becoming the republic America was designed to become. I am a member of various tea party groups in the Houston area and I am impressed with the work they have accomplished and the grassroots success they have been able to experience. However, Tea Party members must realize that their goals actually threaten the existence of the big money party machines.

There is a reason that Fox News is beginning to turn on the Tea Party movement and have attempted to scold the Tea Parties instead of get behind them. Those within the Tea Party movement believe in citizen leadership. They are not looking for polished politicans but candidates who will be true to our constitution and principles as conservative leaders. Tea Party members also are not looking at party affiliation, which means that they could eventually consume many voters from both parties, which constitutes another danger to both the Democrat and Republican Party. So when the Tea Parties can not be bullied to fold under the GOP the next move is to attack them.

I hope that leaders within the Tea Party movement remain strong and focused. That they will continue their successful strategy of raising up grassroots candidates who know and understand the Constitution and the role it plays in government. Tomorrow begins early voting for the primaries and I am fully backing a real Tea Party candidate who has received the stamp of approval as a real threat to the establishment. I thought that we had learned from Sarah Palins bid for the Vice Presidency what happens when a candidate who is dangerous comes on the scene. The first sign of a threat is attack and sabatoge. Seeing this happen to Debra Medina has provided solid confidence that she is the candidate to get behind. When the establishment media and GOP attacks a candidate voters should be able to discern that this candidate is a threat and usually the candidate to vote for.

Debra Medina holds all the characteristics that we need in Texas. The Declaration of Independence provides that if we find that our government has become obscured with abuse and corruption that we as the people who establish our government have the right to elect a new one. In order to know when our government becomes corrupt and abusive we can not have our heads in the sand believing that our government is perfect. Our government is run by sinful men and women who do sinful things. Which means that those who run our government are capable of doing any evil thing that may exist. I believe that there are many unanswered questions about 9/11 and just in my calculation of the events that unfolded, some things just do not sit right. We were all left with inconclusive facts about 9/11, some we can not know others have been lost and compromised.

Our candidates must be voted on because of their campaign platform and how it will impact our lives, not by which tv celebrity endorses them. This is why America sits at the verge of being destroyed. As I look at Debra's platform I have concluded that her principles best fit my values as a Christian Conservative. I am surprised at how fast one Christian can turn against another when it comes to politics. Rick Perry has provided no Conservative policies within his tenure as Governor. He mostly give great conservative campaign messages. The roads and highways in Texas are terrible and need major repair. Interstate 10 that runs through Texas has been in construction in one stretch of the highway for 14 years. That does not make any sense to me. Rick Perry signed a Partial Birth abortion bill that allows late term abortion beyond the 7th month of pregnancy, this to me does not reflect a pro-life conservative candidate, when it was in his powers to ban the procedures all together. I can not in good conscience vote for he or Kay.

He is deceptively saying that the Texas Corridor is dead and it is not. Governor Perry embraces socialist big government spending. He is not a grassroots conservative candidate as a governor, but he is as a campaigner. I have looked at the evidence of his job performance and do not see a person that deserves my vote. When I make my choice at the ballot box, that choice will not only impact me, but my fellow Texas citizens. I must use the voting rights I have obtain to ensure a better quality of life not just for me and my family, but for all Texans. I will not allow Fox News to determine who I will vote for, I have the Scriptures that gives me the wisdom and discernment to make the right choice.

I am thankful for the hard work and dedication of so many leaders and organizations within the Tea Party movement that have allowed those with Conservative principles to have a better choice in candidates. We must continue to capitalize on the success made by the Tea Party movement and just say no to the GOP and Fox News, because America deserves better.

Glenn Beck exposes himself as a plant for the GOP in interview with Debra Medina

This morning I awoke to a rushed day of early meetings in the morning and a host of other appointments throughout the day. But my hurried scheduled did not diminish the excitement and anticipating of listening to the Glenn Beck show. Glenn had finally agreed to have one of the candidates who is running for Governor of Texas on his radio show.Debra Medina the grassroots conservative candidate in Texas would finally get her opportunity to tell the people of America her vision for the state of Texas. I was surprised that Glenn Beck had all of a sudden changed his mind about interviewing her, but "oh well", it was an opportunity for Debra. I was to be on the road traveling to a meeting at the time the radio interview was supposed to be aired, so the first thing I did as I started my van, was to turn my radio on. The show was in the middle of a commerical so I waited with excitement as we were nearing the top of the hour, when Debra would be on. It was a very wet day here in Houston, and so I was both distracted by the weather, the drivers in the weather, and the soon appearance of Debra Medina on the Glenn Beck Show.

Well after a brief news update, the time had come and sure enough, Glenn Beck starts the segment by talking up candidates who had come from no where. My excitement turned to smiling as I heard Mr. Beck slowly ease into the Texas Governors race what I heard actually surprised me as he was totally denouncing Rick Perry the current Governor of Texas. The stage had been perfectly set for the introduction of Debra Medina the come from behind candidate in our Governors race.

So Mr. Beck introduces Debra and then starts with his first interview question which was "Who is Debra Medina?". I could sense tension in his voice as if he was annoyed or irritated, but I awaited Debra's answer and out came her firm strong response. "Good job", I thought. "You tell him", Debra, was more like it. The next question was the property tax question, and again she sailed through that answer as well. Then all of a sudden came the 9/11 truther question. And I thought, "what's that about?" I really did not know what a "truthers" was but after hearing Glenn Beck explain I was not phased by it or Debra's answer. However, what happened next was totally unexpected.

My very first thought after he rushed her off the phone, and then began ridiculing her was that this was a classic setup. He totally staged everything perfectly and then attempted to destroy her bid for Governor, just by labeling her a truther. I actually laughed at the obvious ploy of this so-called interview and though nothing of it. After hanging up with Debra he and Pat Gray his co-host laughed about how he wanted to french kiss Rick Perry, I was totally surprised by his jollying with this being that he confesses to be a Christian. Insinuating homosexual pleasures is not something I would think that a Christian man would take so haphazardly. But it seemed like child's play for Glenn Beck. When I arrived at my meeting the look on my friends face was like total horror. My first thought was, "what happened? what's wrong?", then they relayed to me the dimise Debra faced with her inteview with Glenn Beck.

Just last night as my family and I were out grocery shopping I saw Rick Perry on the cover of a Texas magazine, showcasing his bid for the 2012 Presidential election. Of course this would be news here but maybe not in New York, or California or in another state where this would not have any relevance. So then I remembered the article, I remembered Sarah Palin's endorsement of Rick Perry, I remembered Glenn Becks sudden disdain for Rick Perry and then his all of sudden admiration for him again. There it was. I knew right then what this was all about and it became as laughable as watching an episode of "Word Girl" with my daughter. Does Glenn Beck think that the people of Texas is that naive and gullible that we would not see through his little ploy today?

After appearing on the Glenn Beck show and deciding not to play by his rules, I too discovered a different side of Mr. Beck. One of the things that came to my mind is the fact that Glenn Beck ridicules Debra Medina, while he holds to beliefs that many of us may deem unusual as well. As a Mormon, there are many doctrines and teachings that those in the Christian faith would deem just as unusual as Glenn Beck finds as to the beliefs of "truthers". First of all Debra Medina is not a truther, yet, he displays that she is a truther on his website at www.glennbeck.com. This is dishonest at best and I am sure Mr. Beck would not appreciate anyone making a claim that he believes something that he does not. However, Glenn Beck showed up today as a plant for the GOP, one who has disdain for those who "question their government with boldness", as he once called the American people to do, and not the so called independent thinker he positions himself to be when he wants to stir up the American people.

Americans should have no more patience for dirty politics and the antics of the party machine that only wishes to use the American voter as pawns for their future careers. I use to think that Glenn Beck was a person for the people. But now when he desires to push on the people of Texas a career politicians who has his eyes not on governing Texas but running for President, I see him as just another plant for the party establishment.

Who will Save America? It won't be the Tea Party GOP

Only God can deliver America from her many tyrants and enemies. We are discovering first hand that America has many underlying issues that will not be solved by the change in our political make up. It is not who leads our government but the content of that individuals character and their desire to bring back the God-inspired principles our founding fathers created in establishing this nation. Our current generations have not experience the concept of America designed by our founding fathers. Since the turn of the century America has been hijacked by big-government pundits and the promoters of globalization.

Even within our two party political systems, a Constitutional America is a threat and detriment to the establishments that are. On the one hand, the Constitution of the United States dismantles the big government goals of the Democrat platform and on the other; the Constitution dismantles the path of globalization of the establishment of the GOP. Both sides have everything to lose and so both sides will do whatever they can to totally destroy any movement that threatens their ambitions. The only benefactors of a Constitutional America are the states and the citizens of said states. As Americans have been distracted by the routines of life and the relentless attempts to attain to the American Dream, our political parties have set out to destroy our nation.

The new uprising of candidates who embrace our Constitution, states rights and state sovereignty are no friends to the establishment. We are now seeing the taking over of the once grassroots Tea Party movement by the icons of the GOP. On Thursday a national Tea Party convention was held with national speakers who represented the GOP and in one article it was said that the GOP should absorb what is going on in the Tea Party Movement. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703427704575051242901. however, here in Texas the only grassroots Constitutional activist, Debra Medina has been ignored. First they implore support of grassroots tea party candidates then they at the same time ignore them. Sarah Palin was in Houston this weekend and in viewing a clip of her speech she only gave credence to the two major GOP candidates, the incumbent, Rick Perry and the Washington insider Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson. These were the types that the tea partiers were suppose to be banishing from political offices across the country. Ms. Palin made no mention of Debra Medina who is the true grassroots tea party candidate in our Governors race.

So why in one venue the tea party candidates are embellished with praise and in another this same type of candidate is ignored. What is different here is that Debra Medina is not only a tea party candidate but she is also a student of the constitution who embraces states rights and would enforce the constitution in the state of Texas. Mrs. Medina is dangerous and is a threat to the GOP establishment. Most Tea Party candidates are those who desire to stop tax and spend. What is becoming more evident is that there is a new movement that is not a friend to the establishment and threatens the anti-American policies of both parties. At Conservative Moms for America we support candidates who are grassroots in that they desire to bring America back to the God-inspired principles of our founding fathers.

Our candidates are those who support the Constitution of the United States and the enforcing of states rights and state sovereignty. In Nevada, Bill Parson’s is the candidate we have endorsed to replace Harry Reid’s Senate seat, but he has received no coverage from the GOP or so-called “conservative news media”. In Georgia, Michael Frisbee, another Constitutionalist candidate, running for the 13th Congressional District in that state has met with the same disregard. Clayton Thibodeaux of California is looking to replace Barbara Boxer one of the most liberal candidates in the state of California. These are all candidates that hold in common their commitment to governing by the Constitution.
We must now recognize a new division in the uprising of political candidates; the Constitutionalist. We have not heard any of the promoters of the tea party movement talking about bringing America back to her founding principles. These organizations are concerned with being “taxed enough already”, not enforcing the Constitution. In fact, according to an article featured on Fox News.com the main focus of the tea party movement is fiscal responsibility. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/06/tea-partiers-urge-unity-rifts-movement/. The Constitution is never even mentioned.

In a panel discussion on our weekly blogtalkradio show we discussed the implication of an America governed by our constitution. Since the early 1900 the Constitution of the United States has be discarded by both parties. Many of the big government programs that foster big bucks for both parties would be abolished by a Constitutional America and the funding of the political campaigns on both sides will seek a distinct decline in campaign contributions. Neither party would be able to continue their underlying goals if power is given to the states. So both parties would do themselves a great disservice to back candidates who wish to bring an end to their big money establishments.

The tea party movement only desires to elect candidates that will stop the big government expansion of the Democrat Party, but who will also continue the globalization of the neocon conservatives. With all the uprising and disdain, discontent and frustrations of America's current government, a viable solution will not be gained through the tea party movement. Rebuilding an America that is governed by the God-inspired principles of our founding fathers will be attained by electing candidates who are committed to the freedoms and liberties of the states forged by the US Constitution. We desire to take America back not put a nice face on the same old GOP.

February is Black History Month, but what happened to the history.

This month America recognizes Black History month and the many contributions that have been made by black Americans throughout the years. As I was surfing the net to find out information about how this celebration began I happened upon some very interesting findings. “In 1915, Dr. Carter G. Woodson and Rev. Jesse E. Moorland co-founded the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History (ASNLH). There goal was to research and bring awareness to the largely ignored, yet crucial role black people played in American and world history. The following year, Woodson published and distributed his findings in The Journal of Negro History. He founded the publication with the hope that it would dispel popular mistruths. He also hoped to educate black people about their cultural background and instill them with a sense of pride in their race. The son of former slaves and the second black person to receive a degree from Harvard University, Carter Woodson understood the value of education. He also felt the importance of preserving one’s heritage and, upon his urgings the fraternity Omega Psi Phi created Negro History and Literature Week in 1920. In 1926, Woodson changed the name of the Negro History week. He selected the month of February for the celebration as a way to honor of the birth of two men whose actions drastically altered the future of black Americans. Abraham Lincoln, the U. S. President who issued the Emancipation Proclamation was born February 12th and Frederick Douglas, one of the nation’s leading abolitionists was born on February 14th.”

We seldom hear anything today about the relationship black Americans once enjoyed with the Republican Party. In an article from www.whitehouse.gov, Abraham Lincoln is credit with building up the Republican Party to become a strong national organization. It was this man that blacks in America during this time believed was due honor for his fight for the freedom of blacks. However something went wrong in the 1960’s that would sever these ties permanently. What happened to the history that detailed the bond that blacks in America once held to the Republican Party? What happened to the welcoming mat President Lincoln laid out to blacks in his abolishing of slavery within the United States? After the death of Carter Wilson in the 1950’s the ASNLH, took on the platform of the Black Power Movement. This celebration that once honored the victories shared by blacks and whites had now changed hands and was transformed into the ideologies of liberal black radicals. It was also during this time that the radical liberal blacks and whites joined forces. The celebration of Black History Month would no longer include the works of Abraham Lincoln and other Republicans who worked so hard to bring equality to the lives of blacks in America.

The fight to enact the Civil Rights Acts of the 1960, gave liberals the upper hand they needed against the Republican Party. When members of the party stood against the use of quotas within the establishment of Affirmative Action, Democrats used this resistance to convince black church leaders who led the fight within the Civil Rights Movements to believe that the Republican Party was no longer a friend to the black community. By this time the Republican Party had experienced some growing pains within their 100% voting average within the black community. That is correct. There was a time when blacks in America voted 100% for the Republican Party. Who knew? However the Democrats saw their time coming and awaited the right time to snatch the black voting block from the Republicans. During one occasion while Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr was jailed, President Kennedy called to comfort Coretta Scott King. This left a compassionate impression on Dr. King’s father. In return for President Kennedy’s kindness Dr. King's, father promised to bring votes from the black community and on that promise he made good. Until this day, the 90% voting bloc within the black community has not changed.

Fast forward to 2010, the idea that the Republican Party is a racist party overtaken by Conservative Evangelical Christians of the worst kind has been drilled tightly into the minds of those in the black community. The Presidency of Barack Obama has allowed many blacks to shed their perception of the loyalties of the Democrat Party however. I have also seen the rise of the Tea Party Movement that has re-opened the door to Black Conservatives reuniting them once again to the Republican Party and realigning themselves to the principles and values that this party was built on. Here in Texas, I have been privileged to experience this new attitude of grassroots candidates who are rising up and running for office. One such candidate is Debra Medina who is running for Governor of Texas. Debra’s supporters are those from all walks of life. The diversity that exists within her supporters reflects the type of relationships that may have been present with blacks and white during the Lincoln years. Although some of Debra’s beliefs about government may differ from Lincoln her welcoming and treatment of blacks reminds me of the principles that began the celebration of black history month when whites were appreciated for the sacrifices they made for equality.

In the beginning years of celebrating Black History month it was not about being black it was about being free. It was about being able to have the opportunity to attain a better life through hard work. It was about celebrating those people that fought hard to see that we all could live in peace as a nation. These are the much needed qualities that must be brought back within our government. These are the qualities that moved Carter Woodson to honor President Lincoln and Frederick Douglas. The real history of Blacks and the Republican Party has been destroyed by the liberal left radicals within the Democrat Party who have no interest in empowering blacks. Star Parker, syndicated columnist and founder of CURE, was interviewed on our Conservative Moms radio show this morning, during our discussion Star made a comparison that should be of great concern to the black community. She explained that during the time when the black community aligned themselves with the Christian principles of the Republican Party they enjoyed a better quality of life. She explained that during those times the percentage of two parent families was at approximately 78%, however today approximately 68% of black families are headed by a single parent. That is a vast difference and the impact of such statistics is horrifying.

The statistics expressed by Star are not those that would lead us to celebrate. In fact we should be deeply saddened. However as blacks move from being controlled by the immoral ungodly principles of the liberal left that has only brought forth destruction; to the godly principles of those which are held by grassroots conservatives like Debra Medina, there will arise again in America a reason to celebrate. We will be able to celebrate our great history that binds us together and makes us one nation under God.

Fox News - Unfair and Unbalanced

I remember during the 2008 Presidential Campaign that Fox News was the leading scoffer of the Government Controlled MSM. They scoffed at the elitist bias that was targeted at Sarah Palin. They ridiculed Obama’s supporters as kool-aide drinkers of the worst kind. They despised the manner in which Obama’s supporters worshipped him like a god. They made fun of Chris Matthews’s “leg tingling” comment and the stories of dismay goes on and on. Fast forward to 2010, and now we find Fox News doing the vary things they scolded the liberal media about.

Since Sarah Palin has become a contributor of Fox News and she has also endorsed Rick Perry in the race for Governor for Texas, Fox News has demonstrated the worst case of media bias and elitism. In the race for Governor of Texas we have three candidates not two. This race is not between Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchinson. It is between Debra Medina, Kay Bailey Hutchinson and Rick Perry. So is the practice of elitist bias behavior only bad when the liberals do it? All candidates have the right to equal access, regardless of who is or is not backing him or her. Debra Medina is just as much a Christian Conservative as Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchinson is. Debra Medina is also a Tea Party activist and a student of the Constitution. I guess those qualities are no longer important in a leader?

Debra Medina knows how the government should function and desires to bring our state back to the confines of our country’s Constitution. She embraces the God-inspired principles of our founding fathers. I also thought that this was a good thing as well. I do not think that the average American realizes what our country is supposed to look like under the confines of the Constitution. Although many harp at the Obama Administration’s disdain for our country’s founding documents, Americans seem to have the same attitude when a candidate attempts to move us back into the Republic that we are suppose to be as a nation. Those who do not understand Constitutional governing see Debra Medina’s views as wacko and far out. They totally fear that she will do exactly what the Constitution instructs. For instance, one of the issues that so called conservatives try to attack Mrs. Medina on is her stance on the legalization of marijuana.

Under the Constitution of the United States, the Federal Government has not jurisdiction in this matter. Each state is suppose to be sovereign and should have the authority to set forth laws in the best interest of each individual state. This means that if the people of California chooses to legalize marijuana and the people of Louisiana does not it’s their choice. That is how life looks in a Republic. Let’s take her position of homosexual marriage. Mrs. Medina believes that each state should have the sovereign right to determine this issue. Personally she believes that marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman, however, she does not have the right to regulate what these individuals do in the privacy of their own bedrooms. However these same individuals do not have the right to force what they have chosen to do on anyone else. Now does this sound like something we should run to the mountains in fear of?

Sean Hannity said on his radio show on Monday, that he could not believe Texans would not want to re-elect one of this countries “most conservative Governors”. Oh really Sean? Maybe Sean Hannity might be speaking not of the type of Constitutional conservative like our founding fathers, but a more neo-con conservative more like that of say, George Bush, who believes that our National Security is for the use of overtaking the world. And we also have forgotten about John McCain’s Rhino ideologies and he too has now become a “true conservative”, man how ones thinking change within a year’s time. I would suggest the readers of this blog to research the word neocon then use Google or any search engine to search for this term adding some of the leading figures of the Republican Party and see what interesting information you will receive.

As this race has come to the forefront of the nation, I am beginning to wonder if the American people really understand what the many faces of Conservatism and what they all mean? Is Fox News the new authority in determining who qualifies as a conservative or what the meaning conservatism is? Not for me. God has given us the opportunity to see the destruction that awaited us from those we consider our opposition. Now He is unveiling the same destruction that exists within. Why are we so apt to believe that a politician is a “conservative” just because he or she claims that they are? I am a Christian Conservative and I weigh politicians and their character on the foundation of Scripture and not on their popularity or celebrity status.

Is it okay for Fox News to dismiss Debra Medina as if she is not even in the race? Is it okay to shun her because she is not part of the Republican Political machine that these same people once banished, or because she is not endorsed by the party politicians? Bias is bias and elitism is elitism. Fox News considers itself the source of news that is fair and balanced. In their reporting of our Governors race in Texas in which Sarah Palin has endorsed Rick Perry, I do not see fair and I definitely do not see balanced. All I see is the same use of mind control by the media, unfair and unbalanced.

I once thought that people on the left were the koolaide drinkers who were in a trance and suffering from the Obama leg tingle syndrome. However I have found that there are those on the right whose legs tingle just like those on the left. The blogosphere has been buzzing all week with the shock of Governor Palins announcement to endorse Rick Perry and John McCain. In Romans 12:3, Paul gives us this warning:

"For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."

What is Sarah Palin really saying by coming out for Rick Perry, and of course John McCain, which is the biggest surprise of all? Could she be saying, "Hey don't worry about it fella's, I got the American people tightly wrapped around my little pinky and when I show up on the stomp for you it's all over." Sike! I look at my city and my state and I see the real issues and I realistically look at the people who are in charge and draw my own conclusions about the effectiveness of their leadership. After looking at this video please tell me your honest views about this debate as far as leadership is concerned: See how our current governor tries to present facts that are totally false at the core. As a Christian Conservative I do not want the government mandating what I must do. And I definitely take issue when these mandates are politically motivated to pad the pockets of lobbyist friends. Let us not forget a problem that is not only one that plagues Texas but the United States as a whole - Texas border security. Like most politicans who now pander for votes, when Gov. Perry ran for re-election four years ago, he promised Texans the sky in securing the Texas border. However, after he was re-elected he quickly reversed his views on Border Security calling the idea of a border fence "preposterous". Well it was not so preposterous when he was begging voters to re-elect him. But in the usual, "suckers", attitude most career politicans have when baiting voters, Rick Perry soon reversed himself. Finally what were all the marches around the country for today? Wasn't it to protest the mass murders of millions of United States Citizens. Well in Houston, Texas, we have the second largest abortion clinic in the world. Governor Perry touts his supposedly pro-life guardian. The link below will show you how those who are in bed with politicians deceive their viewing audience. During his speech however, he pushed his commitment to pro-life legislation. In Texas we are led to believe that partial birth abortions are banned under the leadership of Governor Perry, however they are not. Hence this is how the monstrosity in Houston is able to take the life of babies through Partial Birth abortions. Now remember, Congress gave the right to the state to regulate the strictness of partial birth abortion. A true conservative would have totally banned the practice. Sarah Palin did not share that bit of information as well.

After viewing the various links you would see why Perry must hide behind Sarah Palin, Perry is not concerned about the future of Texans or the state of Texas, he is afraid that his bid for Governor has suddenly been tarnished and desires to have the negative things he has done suddenly wiped away by the magic wink of Gov. Palin. This I see only as political expediency and political posturing. After witnessing the deception imposed on the people of America by those on the left, I would think that most tried and true conservatives would regurgitate such behavior. But I guess the pot does fall far from the kettle.

Don't Mess with Texas

This morning I find myself a little perturbed by the recent news of Sarah Palin choice to campaign for Rick Perry for Governor of Texas. At first I thought, “What?” But quickly I understood how someone who presented themselves as Sarah did can become an endorser of someone like Rick Perry. Now I live in Houston, Texas the largest city in Texas and I know what living in Texas is like. In Houston we have as the monument of Texas the “worlds” second largest abortion super clinic. When I discovered this atrocity was being constructed here, I was at a lost for words. Many see Texas as the stronghold for fundamentalist Baptist teaching and the center of the Bible belt and we have the world’s second largest abortion center? This is the second largest in the entire world. Think about that for a minute.

My question is this. Who are the gatekeepers of Texas? This is not a Houston thing, this is a Texas thing and for our government’s administration and our Senators to allow such funding to enter Texas, someone has not been doing their jobs. The lives of future little Texans hangs in the balance and we must have leaders who truly uphold life and not just do lip service. As a Christian Conservative I believe in upholding Godly principles. And life is a principle that God holds dear. As a voter I choose those who I will support and endorse by the content of a candidates character, not by whether they can bring tears to my eyes in a speech. Our current sitting Governor is a run of the mill GOP good ole boy, the kind Sarah Palin use to work against. Now I know that I am going to make a lot of people mad, but because I am a person of deep conviction and principle, in a nation that is grossly lacking in this type of character, it is expected. From the election of President Obama, I thought that maybe Americans would run from their embracing of “cult politics”, supporting people because of who they are and what they can do to stroke one’s emotions. I was afforded the opportunity to attend the KERA debates in Denton, Texas where Debra Medina, current Governor Rick Perry and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson attended. It was embarrassing to see this man get on national TV and act like a kindergartener, then think that anyone would actually vote for him to be re-elected. And Kay showed the classic case of jumping around the issues.

The Tea Party movement also heavily embraces Rick Perry. The Tea Party groups once identified themselves as the engine behind promoting grassroots candidates who were God-fearing and principled. At the debate Rick Perry would not own up to the fact that Texas has lost over 300,000 jobs. He boasted of creating 150,000 jobs, of which all came from the government sector. The property taxes in Texas have risen by 49% and the border problems here are still a joke. These are real issues that Texans must face and find effective solutions to. The only thing Perry did in the debate is showed that he like other career politicians don’t believe that American’s are paying any attention and could care less about the future of their states or nation.

There was at one point in this debate where a student asked a question about an “in of life” law that was imposed in healthcare practices. Neither Rick Perry nor Kay Bailey Hutchinson knew that this law existed. The only person who had a clue was Debra Medina. When I first met Debra I liked her because she has a genuine personality. I first discovered her through a Tea Party meeting that I attended, I immediately requested that she complete our “Mommy Approved Candidates Survey” and she did. I know Debra personally and thought that she would be the kind of candidate Sarah Palin would stand behind and support. I am deeply disappointed in Sarah Palins decision to endorse Rick Perry, however it is her decision to make. I hold dear our freedom to be able to make whatever choices we desire as Americans and I respect that in Sarah Palin’s case as well. I would hope that Texans reject Rick Perry regardless of what big ticket name puts their support behind him. We Texans and we American’s need to return to the God-inspired principles of our founding fathers, a subject Rick Perry or Kay Bailey Hutchinson appear to know little of. Debra Medina is a student of the constitution and understands the working of the Republic that God inspired to be created through our founding fathers.

Conservative Moms for America endorses Debra Medina as Governor of the State of Texas. Being a mom, I desire someone who understands and embraces the concerns I have. Debra is a registered nurse who understands the problems that exist in our current healthcare system and will allow Texas to become a leader in quality healthcare. She home schooled both her children and for me that speaks volumes. She understands “mom politics” and will be a leader in issues that are of concern to moms and the future of our children in issues pertaining to life, education, healthcare and economics. We can not allow Texas to go down the road of electing status quo politicians. Texans deserve better, and so does America. It will be up to the voters of Texas to follow the examples of the voters of Massachusetts, and reject the status quo and elect a candidate that will bring the leadership and quality representation and send a message that our states will be a government established by “we the people” and the confines of our US Constitution and the Declaration of Independents. It bothers me when any outsider try to ram the status quo down the throats of Texans. Don’t tread on us and please “don’t mess with Texas.

The Return of the Christian Conservative

Today I spent over 2 hours on the telephone with the IRS. I was amazed at how disorganized this agency still is. You would think that after all these years someone would know something about their jobs at the IRS. I had only one question, “How do I file my taxes for an organization that is both Christian and political?” Now I had no idea I was putting forth to those at the IRS, the most difficult question of the past 50 years. It was as if I spoke words that discombobulated their whole system of thinking and caused the IRS to experience a meltdown of some sort. I was transferred back in forth about 6 times. If you think I caused a meltdown of the system by putting forth that question. I then told them that my non profit organization would be non-tax exempt. Man do I need to get out into the world of government more. Making this statement really caused the wiring in the thinking of those at the IRS to go completely haywire. It was as if I entered a foreign land and asked a question in a language no one understood.

One thing I learned by my two hour and 15 minute conversation with the on-hold music, was that there is no such thing as an organization that is both Christian and Political. If anyone wishes to receive tax exempt status they must adhere to the government’s new standard of separation of church and state. Either you are a Christian organization or you are a political organization. But you can not put Christianity and politics together. Well that is until God through me into this movement to save our country. Today, Conservative Moms for America established one of a rare few if not, the first Christian Political organization of our anti-God era. The reason why there is so few or no such organizations that exist today is because the government has used their "golden entitlement bait" to cause organizations to become dependent on their handouts. This has also eliminated the influential impacts of the once power movement formerly known as the "Christian Conservative". I am amazed at how dependent Americans have become of our government. I would rather pay taxes on my donations than to allow the government to control me through tax exempt entitlements.

Conservative Moms for

can now accept donations. However, those donations will not be able to be used as charitable deductions for tax purposes by those who give. And I will gladly pay taxes on those donations if it allows me the freedom to bring back to this country a voice and a place for the Christian Conservative. There was a time in our country when the Christian Conservative was a viable watchdog in maintaining morality and accountability within the culture of American life. However, progressives conjured up an entitlement that would soon quiet them just as they have, minorities, corporate America, the financial market, the housing industry and everyone else that salivates at the site of a government handout.

There is a manner in which we can still enjoy the freedom our founding fathers fought for us to enjoy as Americans. It does come at a cost, and is every bit worth that cost. As I look at this metaphorically, I see so many who have voluntarily bowed down and allowed the voice of the Christian Conservative to be sealed by the millions of dollars that have been received through tax-exempt entitlements. Are our Christian principles worth more than a tax exempt? I have heard so many times Christians scoff at those who live off government entitlements, but are they not doing the same thing? If the thought of not getting to write a donation off, causes grief to a tax payer, isn’t that a handout as well? Today, the voice of the Christian Conservative has returned. Conservative Moms for America.org will be a place where Christians can speak boldly about their faith, express their views about government and politics and endorse the candidates they believe can represent their values all at the same time. And I hope that our members will do so with great honor and pride for our God who deserves it and our country that can not survive without Him.

Saying that the last two months of getting pushed into this battle to take our country back has been an "eye-opener", would truly be an understatement, it has been more like being awakened from a nightmare, that well, is not a nightmare. We are excited about the New Year and all the great things that await us as we champion the cause for freedom. This will be my final blog of the year and I am happy to write this with excitement as the New Year roles in. I believe that in 2010, America will witness the return of the Christian Conservative and that this return will bring about great opportunities for the futures of our children. America is no longer a God Fearing Nation

President Obama’s remarks last summer that America is not a Christian nation, brought outrage to many Americans. I too could not believe he would appear on a worldwide platform and say something like this about the country that has afforded him such a place in our country’s history. However, if President Obama would have said instead, that “America is no longer a God-fearing nation, I would have had to agree with him. As I step back from the drama of the day and really look at how we behave as Americans I would have to say that there is an aspect of our character that was once present in America and has been lost. In the last 50 years, America has gone through a very dramatic transition from being a nation whose God was the LORD, and who lived in the knowledge that God was a powerful and righteous overseer over their lives, to citizens who now believe they can live in any manner they desire.

This is why we are now witnessing the worst corruption in our government that has ever been witnessed by any other generation. The policies of Franklin Roosevelt actually signaled a parting of ways from God and to the Constitution of the

United States

. Our founding fathers were adamant about the government staying in its place and not becoming a power within itself, being respectfully in submission to the Creator. However, Franklin Roosevelt began the expansion of government and it has been expanding ever since; undermining our Constitution at each stroke of the pen in the creation of expansion policies. Many decisions that would come afterward further signaled that we were heading in a wrong direction.

I have thought for a long time that the removal of prayer from school was the start of this departure from being a nation of God-fearing people, but the process began many years before. Still having this decision come to past showed that the leaders of our nation had become arrogant and desired to rule themselves rather than remain God-fearing men who would seek God’s direction. There was a time in our country’s history when Americans showed their dissatisfaction with policies by rising up in revolt. However, something about America was gone and it would lead us into the place we are witnessing today. Our judicial system was already taken over by men who desired their rule and not that of our God or the Constitution He inspired. What was not obvious was that the citizens of America had also abandoned the principles of our founding fathers. The legalization of abortion should have been the great red flag that would signal the end of America as was once known. I can not even imagine the heart break God experienced as He watched

America

begin such a vicious attack against innocent life. The cries of the many precious little souls that have been murdered goes all the way up to heaven.

Only a rebellious and defiant people could create such a horror in the presence of an Almighty God and have no remorse. No one stood up in defense of this tragedy, not the church, not other parents, not anyone. Surely if the fear of God existed even then Americans would have taken to the streets in protest, but instead everyone kept on with life as usual. Then came the sexual revolution more evidence that the fear of God was absent from the center of American life. The liberal Left who were the culprits of these acts of rebellion continued behind the scenes taking advantage of the new American attitude that no longer feared God.

Next was the coming out of homosexuals, where men and women paraded their sexual defiance in the face of God. Not feeling that God had been radically moved at this point, the radicals begin to change what Americans believed, by creating the concept of political correctness. Political correctness replaced Americans dependence on God’s Word to instruct and lead their lives. Everything about this concept is an attack against Biblical teachings. It impacted how we thought, what we thought was right and wrong and how we viewed others. It is what caused our public school system to become an institute of indoctrination and anti-God teaching. It is what brought about the post modern thinking of moral relativism and the corruption and immorality that has destroyed our ability to be God-fearing people.

So how do we become God fearing people again? By believing that God is the absolute authority over our lives and by replacing the garbage and polluted thinking of political correctness with the Biblical teachings found in the Word of God and returning to live under God’s rule, we can experience America again. Without returning to dependence on God and abiding in His Word we will not ever experience the America our founding fathers established. Without re-educating ourselves in regards to our founding documents and electing leaders who understand these documents as well, we will not experience the America our founding fathers established. As I have been pushed into the center of the battle for America, I see a spiritual problem that continues to be neglected and over looked. So many new groups are focusing on the politics as the center of our issues, but it is not the central problem.

The work which I believe God called me into and I have began through the Conservative Moms for America group will continue to battle the spiritual issues that have derailed our nation. Fearing God means that we respect His authority over life and His right to reign over us. It also means that we fear the consequence of His discipline and power to chastise us. We understand that there is a final judgment that has an eternal effect over our lives and we fear the consequences of His judgment. America has become a nation that no longer fears God and it is evident in many ways within American life. Remember Psalms 14:1, “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.”

Life Goes On

Good morning to all in the blogsphere.

I am sure some of you have heard by now of the recent turmoil on our newly created Conservative Moms for America. I am thankful that God sees all things and will give His account of life from His prospective in the end. I must say though that God is moving me forward and I wish all who have left us well. I have been around long enough to know that when things like this happens people will leave and emotions will flare. But God has kept me contained in all of this. I have and always will admire the many wonderful women that God provided for me to start my work in this fight to take back our country for God. But I must say, I have an incredible peace that most would not expect in a time like this.

Even after parting ways with close trusted friends, my heart feels no hard feelings. Today I just feel like it's another day to work in the things of the LORD. There are always those who will take sides and have issue, but I know that there is a God that is high and lifted up who knows exactly my hearts intent and motives and He will deal with what He finds according to what He finds, not what people perceives or even what I perceive. From this experience, I just wanted to encourage all of you that are working in this fight to keep fighting. Attacks will come, misunderstandings will happen, and people will draw their own conclusions, but each man will be held accountable for their own actions. So keep fighting for our freedoms and liberties and for our country to come back to that place where God sits as our Sovereign leader.

I am thankful that God gives us grace to learn and grow in this life, but we can not leave our experiences even when they are not the most favorable, being changed in a negative manner. In all of life's seasons, there is a place to grow and learn. But we don't become bitter or apathetic because that only prevents God from showing us His way. The Scriptures tell us that each day we must deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him. He has already provided victory, but we must show that our faith is one that can endure for us in this life. God has already prepared me for dealing with painful experiences so I can look to Him and say, okay God what should I take from this one. God is just amazing, He really is. He wants to mold and grow us and show us how to follow His will. As long as we believe that life goes on, and that will be faithful to guide us through this journey He created for us, God will take us to incredible places.

I am sure based on the opinions of others involved, many will form their opinions, but they have a right to. This is what we get to enjoy as Americans, our freedom to draw our own conclusions and opinions. So today I just wanted to encourage you to know that God is aware of every detail of our lives. There is nothing hidden from Him. Circumstances arise but it is not the circumstance that makes or breaks us but the way we handle or react to them. For me, God has more and I sense more, so life goes on as I seek to do the will of my Father. If you are in the midst of a hard circumstance, don't allow that circumstance to cloud your judgment. I leave you with Proverbs 1:1-7,

God is Pro-Life

Today I am scratching my head wondering, “How did Roe vs Wade pass? In our Online Bible Study in Genesis, God specifically tells us how He feels about life. There is no “wondering what He really meant by that” approach one can take from what He has put in place regarding life. This is not the first verse where God specifically tells us how He feels about life. But this is what Genesis 9:6 says, “Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, (C)its blood.

5"Surely I will require (D)your lifeblood; (E)from every beast I will require it. And from every man, from every man's brother I will require the life of man. 6"(F)Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed, for (G)in the image of God He made man. 7"As for you, (H)be fruitful and multiply; Populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it."

This seems more like the serpent saying “Did God really say?” We have had it wrong, and we have been asking the wrong question for the last 50 years, is what I take from these Scriptures. Instead of debating, “when does life begin?” The question should be, “Is there blood flowing through them?” This debate would be over and everyone would stop hiding behind their rebellious desire to act in disobedience against God. To my fellow women I would say this, “You have no right to chose.” Once God has placed blood in the veins that person has life and therefore has been ordained by God to life, not a women’s desire to birth that life.

This morning I see America’s plight like I have never seen it with my understanding before. This is what the consequences are for those who would take away the life of another:

Surely I will require (D)your lifeblood; (E)from every beast I will require it. And from every man, from every man's brother I will require the life of man.

Now if God would require this of man, what do you think He will require of a nation, who runs to embraces the governments sanction on rebellion. Our nation must repent, but more than that our churches must repent, because there was no church uprising against this atrocity and in fact many church leaders will tell you that we can not judge. This has nothing to do with judging. God has commanded and we are responsible to obey. Before I became a Christian, I had two abortions. During those times I was a staunch liberal who believed that I had a right to my own choices. Only the grace of God that provided me wisdom so that the eyes of my understanding would be enlightened changed my stance against this horrible act of rebellion.

Only those who can submit themselves to God’s Sovereignty can accept that abortion is always wrong. God’s sovereignty means that God sees every circumstance. He sees a woman being raped. He sees a woman in an act of sexual immorality. Yes, God in His Sovereignty must look upon man every day, in his state of lust, unbelief and out right profane behaviors, rebellion and totally rejection of what He has commanded. God has had to witness this every mili-second of each day since the day, man fell from grace. But in this country He must sit on His throne and see innocent children being put to death, for NOTHING. Now do you really believe God would have anything to do with America, just on that act alone? Psalms 127:1-2 says, Behold, (A)children are a gift of the LORD, the (B)fruit of the womb is a reward. 4Like arrows in the hand of a (C)warrior, so are the children of one's youth.

The belief that “children are a gift from God”, is not a catchy Hallmark greeting, it is Truth. Every time one conceives a child God is giving that person a gift. Yet many, even our current administration would feel that they would not want anyone to be “punished”, by having a child. So who is right God or President Obama? Is a child a gift, or punishment? If this blog post has tone of anger it is because I am angry. I am angry that we have allowed the government to regulate rebellion. Conservative Moms for America hopes to rebuild the America God gave to our founding fathers by challenging every person to evaluate they way they are living. America’s number one problem is immorality. Because our country was based on the providence of God immorality can not reside with a Holy God. God has been showing us in many ways that He has had enough and now we are seeing it first hand.

In Genesis God also showed that He has much pity for us, because He knows that we are no match for the heart and the corruption that it can create. We are often reminded of Numbers 12:6, which is the call to repentance, but we must also remember that God calls the leadership to repentance as well. In 2 Chronicles 12:1-7, the Israelites are about to be attacked by Shishak the King of Egypt, because their leader rejected the commands of the LORD.

Now it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom and had strengthened himself, that he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel along with him. 2 And it happened in the fifth year of King Rehoboam that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had transgressed against the LORD, 3 with twelve hundred chariots, sixty thousand horsemen, and people without number who came with him out of Egypt—the Lubim and the Sukkiim and the Ethiopians. 4 And he took the fortified cities of Judah and came to Jerusalem.

5 Then Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah, who were gathered together in Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “Thus says the LORD: ‘You have forsaken Me, and therefore I also have left you in the hand of Shishak.’” 6 So the leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves; and they said, “The LORD is righteous.” 7 Now when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, “They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance. My wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

America needs to return to the practice of electing principled and God-fearing leaders. It is obvious in every part of American life that our leaders have stopped fearing God. God is Pro-life and He will require at His judgment the life of all those who in rebellion destroyed innocent life. Think about it.

I was awaken with lots of ammo this morning to fight the day’s battle. As I slept the Spirit of God was bringing forth incredible revelation and wisdom. I awaken to the words for this blog. My friend Karen Harden has a must read blog post today. In processing all that God has placed on my heart today, one of the defining terms I received was, "stealth attack". Karen and I had no collaborations on what we have written, but the messages are quiet clear. In all of our preparing for battle, charging to turn this country around, ridding our government of corrupt politicians, we must be aware that the enemy sits and watches to see whom it is he may devour.

I was having a couple of bumpy days, and I know there will be more, but God will always use our adversities to mold and shape us. One of the things I have realized from the events of the past two days is that the liberal left has been very effective in launching a stealth plan to brainwash the citizens of America. They have been successful in moving God out of America by changing the attitudes of American concerning things that relate to Christians. Many people have been brainwashed and don't even realize it. That is a scary thing.

When someone can deceptively take over ones mind without them having any fight against the individual, that individual holds a very frightening and dangerous ability. One of the areas where the left has been the most effective is in silencing the voice of Christians. It is like they have individually hog-tied the mouth of Christians without even touching them. That is amazing. I have been amazed at how Christians think about themselves as a result of the raping of their identity by the left. It is as if this hypnotic trance happens once the Christian engages outside of their boundaries. Psalms 24: 8 says, "Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle." Now for the most part during Sunday sermon, or within the confinement of the home, most Christians can shout that boldly. However, place those same Christians in the room with a room full of fierce opponents of the faith, and they would most probably stand shivering.

What happened to "Who is the King of Glory?” The majority of Christians have been conditioned to fear those with no authority over them. Jesus said this in Matthew 28:18-20, "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Who has all authority? Jesus does. Yet Christians will crumble before any opposition of their faith. It is as if they need a remedial course in Christianity to teach them to stand on the faith they profess. It was said that this site is too Christian, it could be offensive and seem exclusive to those who do not believe. Wait! Excuse me; there is nothing offensive on this site. What is offensive? Are their signs anywhere condemning and judging the faith of others, No? Does it say that only Christians are welcome here? No. Do we have a giant "no trespassing" signs saying no unbelievers allowed? No. The Left has now become accustomed to seeing Christians bow down by using their magic words: "You are offending me". Seeing a half naked girl on the front page of a magazine at the grocery check where my 8 year old daughter can view it is offensive to me, but do you think those who support the immoral ideologies of the left care? No! I can be offended until pigs fly but no one will remove those magazines because a Christian who holds to a different set of values is offended.

Christians have existed as if God has no power and the devil has authority over all things during the last 50 years and it shows. I use to watch horror movies back in the day and I was reminded of what would happen when a vampire would see the reflection of a cross. This was so painful that the vampire would squirm at its sight. It is the power of God that has such an impact on darkness. Acts 19:15-17, gives an account on a rather comical scene that shows the effect and the authority of the Power of God,

"And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?”16 Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered[a] them, and prevailed against them,[b] so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

Now the Left no longer has to have their minions silence Christians, they have brainwashed Christians into silencing themselves. It may have the makings of a Hollywood comedy but it’s true. The enemy has stealthily moved Christians into being a contributor to his work. Every time we remove the message of Christ from the presence of an unbeliever, because they deem it offensive, we give them a free pass into farther darkness. It is up to the power of God's word to illuminate ones heart; we should not be working as Christians to stifle that. When we allow the message of Christ to illuminate and expose the issues of darkness the more likely it will be that He will work through them. Every time a Christian runs and hides the power of God because it is offensive to the unbeliever, the more they work in concert with the devil to keep that persons heart in bondage. Removing the message of the Gospel, removes the power of conviction, which is needed to bring the rebellious heart into submission. Our response should be to allow God to deal with the issues that keep the unbelievers heart in bondage. Deal with it.

Doubt is more what exist within the heart of most Christians. If we believe that Christ truly is the King of Glory and has authority of everything that is in heaven and earth, and then darkness would not be able to banish us into silence, instead the power of God would transform the rebellious heart into submission. Think about it.

9/12 Moms Tea Parties

Good Evening blogosphere,

It's early in the morning here but I needed to get this posted before I forget. Our new site launched this week. We have been having a very interesting time in our first week. Our site is distinctfully different than what you may think a mom's network site would consist of. We have a variety of blogs and forums, touching on both the spiritual and political issues in our nation. I believe that America's demise reaches much deeper than surface politics and cleaning out our congress. What has happened in our country over the last 50 years is a complete hijacking of the mind. The liberal left has created ideologies, policies and viewpoints that has destroy the individual which in turn has destroy our moral fabric. In order for us to have a true transformation in this country we must deal with the issue of ones heart. Our site has many resources that does just that.

I believe that if we only change the political makeup of our congress and heads of states, and do nothing to change the condition of how Americans think, we will find ourselves back in the very place we are right now and things will only get worst. The second principle of the 9/12 project happens to be the first and foremost for me, it says that "I believe in God and He is the center of my life." This concept is what will move God back to the center as we refocus our hearts, souls, and mind spiritually. Then real change will come. This however takes work. It is said that our site is too Christian, and therefore we will not receive the kind of membership support seen by more inclusive sites. My response to that, is if all we are is another networking site that looks to show off our membership then we have missed the opportunity to make a lasting and impactful change for the future of our children.

When I heard this I discovered one of the most critical problems that exist in our country. The conditioning by the left to cause people of faith to hide their faith in order that the non-believer is not offended. Christianity is offensive, because it illuminates the darkness of ones heart. I am a Christian and I have a right to be. I sense this almost mechanical reflects to run from the non-believer by most Christians. We have lost our freedom of religion already, if every Christian reference must come down at the presence of a non-believer. I must respect the non-believer, and by the same token the non-believer must also respect me. One of our goals is to build a spirit of conviction and confidence within the minds of our moms. They must value their roles and be able to boldy embrace the role of a mother.

We have a great work in process but we have come up with some rather creative ways to meet our goals. One that is most dearest to me, is the tea party. The tea party protest mimicked the Boston Tea Party, but our mom's will be having traditional set down tea parties to begin conversations in reconstructing the role of moms and in bringing back God as our center. These tea parties may be very lavish to very simple but they will have an impact within our circles of influence. Moms in Action - The 9/12 Moms Network

After two weeks of contemplating what will be the best avenue to move the message of the 9/12 project from being a nice set of values to becoming values that the American family is centered on, I have found resolve and my calling. On Monday, the 9/12 Moms Network will be ready to move the message of the 9/12 project from being just a set of principles that sound nice to those being the values that families are built on. I am more of a person who does than a person who talks about things that I would like to do. I do believe sincerely that the role that I have been moved into playing is a role that God has purposed for me. The root of the problems in our nation is that God has been removed from center stage. As I think about the many third world countries and how different things have turned out for America, I am seeing one very pronounced difference; the role in which God has played in building the success of America.

Our founding fathers purposely put as the center of what America would be the acknowledgement and dependence on The Creator. There is but one Creator and He is God the Father. This God has a Son, Jesus who was sent forth to redeem the world. He left for us His power through the Holy Spirit to guide and show us the way to redemption. This is something I believe the founding fathers believed as well. From reading the various founding documents of this nation, the intent of the fathers was not to confine the worship of God but to ensure that those who would come to this country would be free to worship. The work of organizations like the ACLU would seem rather unconstitutional as it continues to try and restrict the practice of worship rather than allow believers to worship and express their convictions freely.

The first Amendment of the Constitution of the United States says:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

It is appalling to see the different laws that have been enacted within the last 40 years that has "prohibited the free exercise" in the expressing of ones’ religion in this country. A child can not wear a shirt that expresses faith in Christ in a public school. Prayer is no longer allowed in school. A Christmas tree can no longer be displayed in schools. Department stores are restricted from saying "Merry Christmas", during the "Christmas" season which is just a fraction of the many was Christians have been prohibited from their right to free expression. I believe that these restrictions of our expressions of faith totally go against what has been established within the United States Constitution. But how has the ACLU been able to garner so many of these restrictions through the courts that was establish to enforce not dismantle the directives of our founding fathers? I believe that this has happened because so many Americans do not have a clue as to the importance of adhering to our constitution nor does many care.

Within the last 40 years their has been a deliberate attempt by the forces that are, to keep the average American preoccupied to the point that such things as our liberties and freedoms, were the farthest things on list of things to be concerned about. Those who are in power in various faucets of American life understand that the one thing that would be a key to destroying the America envisioned by our founding fathers would be to condition Americans to be indulged with self. The issues of our society for the last 40 years have all been ideologies and policies centered on what is best for ones self and not America as a whole. Creating a fractionalized America is the best way to destroy it. If we were truly a united people then the issues of our lives would focus on how we live in unity as a group instead of individually. Liberals and libertarians both focus on individual rights. At the surface this may seem reasonable but I am reminded by Scripture how this has been the catalyst for creating the problems we have experienced in America today. Roman’s 14 gives a detail account on what happens to us when we are only concerned with what is important to ourselves as individual. We must be our brother’s keeper in a sense.

Starting with America's first mistake, removing prayer from school, this was done solely by the complaint of one individual. That person felt that their individual right to not have to be subjected to hearing prayers recited in schools was more important than the whole of the school population, and so for the one, many became restricted in expressing prayer in schools. Second, the sexual revolution, said that one should be free to express themselves freely without regard to the objections of the whole, ones personal morals outweighed the morals of the society. We can see the corruption in the morals of this nation that has resulted from this type of thinking. Every film, sitcom, commercial advertisement, billboard, department store, school and music video is filled with the over reaching negative impacts of the sexual revolution.

The woman's liberation movement, another "me" concept through which the practice of killing children became a legal process in this country shows this same pattern of “me” first. True motherhood requires the "my child is first", attitude. The very name provides evidence of what role is to be played when a woman becomes a mother. However the "me" first attitude promoted through the woman’s liberation movement implies that a woman is first concerned about her own best interest not the interest of anyone else. Abortion has also impacted the way men look at fatherhood. Many men now look to abortion as a way out of their parental responsibility. Through this today’s fathers are promoting the negative impacts of the "me" first liberal left.

As we look back upon the last 40 years of the cancerous "me" mentality we can see that it is time to reverse our way of thinking. There has not been any quantifiable progress by the implementation of the liberal progressive practices forced upon us. The so-called forward thinking concepts of the liberal left and their un-American experiment has failed miserably. I believe however, that God is not as quick to abandon America as she has been to abandon Him. The task of turning our nation around is not an easy one and it is not one that can be accomplished with the faint of heart. Just as it has taken us 50 years to get to this place it will take many years to get back. But I am confident that we can get back to that place where God is the center of American life again. Just say no, to everything liberal, with a fierce and purposeful force. Are would you like to see just how bad things can really get? The same kind of force that was used to dismantle America is the same type of force we will need to take it back. On Monday, the 9/12 Moms Network, will become a part of the process to do just that.

Moms are still the leaders of their households and we believe that it is through equipping moms to rebuild their families through the principles of the 9/12 project that our nation will begin to turnaround. Black like them, worshipping the god of Blackness

"If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." This verse has been a very powerful verse in the formation of my attitude toward following and serving the LORD. I use it as the basis for my attitude toward others I come in contact with. For me that verse says, there are many gods out there that man has created to serve. Everyone must decide for themselves what god they will follow and serve. But as Joshua said in the verse above, for Mary Baker I and those who live in my household will serve the LORD. When choosing who it is one will follow, that person must make the choice to follow and serve wholeheartedly. In Matthew 6:24, Jesus says this, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other You cannot serve God and wealth.”

In this verse Jesus specifically refers to money, but the context of the verse can be used in any situation where a person is serving or giving of themselves. In this passage, we see that there are some who place money as their god, they worship it and their lifestyle is centered on and driven by it. We all know someone whose lifestyle reflect exactly what these Scriptures describe. I have discovered recently that there are many other objects of ones affection that can become ones god. For instance, I have been very intrigued by the manner in which blacks have reacted to the election of President Obama. In most cases, many do not hold to any of the same ideologies he holds to, but they are committed to a certain aspect of him, through which many have found their own empowerment and identity. Regardless of what he does or does not do these people are faithfully committed to a certain thing about President Obama. For a long time, I wondered, why is it that so many blacks are devoted to this man?

I think about my own beliefs and values and find that President Obama and I have nothing in common. So what is different about me and other blacks that do oppose him, and the majority of blacks who are solely devoted to him? I have been totally baffled until today, when the LORD gave me wisdom to see the difference. For those blacks who worship Obama, they follow him because he is black. That’s it, they don’t have to believe anything he believes or have anything in common with him he is just “black like them”. Obama’s blackness is the god that they worship. Then it all began to make sense. I think about the ideologies Barack Obama holds to and the convictions of those in the black community and I see this so crystal clear. For many blacks, the blackness that they worship means more to them than the God that created them black.

Many blacks attend church on a regular basis but their doctrine is one built on the religion of blackness. Social Justice is something that has long been fought through the leadership of the black church. They believe that social justice means that equality in all areas can only be attained by the government. Their views about poverty are evident as many inner cities have been trampled upon waiting for those they elect in government to come through and wipe all of their struggles away. Jesus says however, in John 12:7-8, these words, “7Therefore Jesus said, "Let her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of My burial. 8"For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me." Jesus never gave us command to make the poor equal, we were warned to not take advantage of the poor, or not to mistreat them, or oppress them, but never to make them equal through the distribution of what someone else owns.

If we really look into the true motives of liberals and the left, we can see by the living conditions of many inner city communities, that there is a lot of mistreatment going on, and a lot of taking advantage, any many do not really care about the poor they are only using them for their own advantage. But again in the religion of blackness the concept of social justice has been embraced and instilled in the minds of those who worship at its altar. Although they may sing songs with great passion about how good God is their true deliverer is their government officials. That is what they hoped for in electing President Obama. The highest person in office would be the embodiment of their blackness and finally deliverance would come.

In the area of gay rights, many blacks are totally against gay rights, yet the President and his liberal pundits are fierce supporters of the gay rights agenda. God’s Word however tells us to flee all sexual immorality. It does not matter what it is; we should have nothing to do with supporting, condoning or promoting sexually immoral behaviors. In the religion of blackness sexual immorality is the centerpiece of ones lifestyle. There seem to be no boundaries or accountability whether in the church setting or any other setting where men and women are held to any moral standard. Sexual immorality is glorified in the music, movies, art, publications, and churches, of those who embrace the religion of blackness.

Another Scripture that has formulated my life as a Christian is 2 Corinthians 5:17, which says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” This concept of newness is foreign to those who worship at the altar of blackness. What I have witnessed especially from the clips of preachers of those like Jeremiah Wright is that there is no forgiveness, or redemption. The sins of the past should always be pressed upon the backs of the children of their fathers, fathers to infinite generations. I at one time worshipped there as well. I was led to believe by those in the black leadership that I was better because I was black, and that my enemy was mainly those who were white Evangelical Christians. That in itself shows that those who worship the god of blackness worship a very different god. That is why blacks can follow Obama to the grave, just as I would follow Christ, regardless of what others may say in opposition of him.

I understand why many can have very different convictions and values than Obama, but remain devoted to him. The god of blackness has been taken life form through Obama. Many blacks view him as everything they have ever hoped for in a deliverer. Some see themselves when they look at him in his color and that alone. They have seen their blackness exalted as President Obama holds the highest office in our land. They don’t see a President that represents the people of America they see someone who represents what their blackness is all about.

For me, there is nothing more precious to me than the forgiveness and redemption Christ has afforded me. The person I use to be I will never be again, because I am a new person in Christ. The manner in which many blacks view President Obama, is the same way I feel about Jesus, people can say whatever they want about Him but as for me and my house we shall serve the LORD.

My New Endeavor

I am always impressed with my American sisters and brothers. They always seem to show their greatest character under pressure. Americans are amazing people. We are compassionate in times when compassion is needed.  We unite when a call for uniting is amongst us. We share when our fellow citizens are faced with a crisis and goes without. I did not think I can be prouder to be an American, but today I stand corrected. I can not count the number of responses that have come into my email, my blogspot, my facebook page, and over the blogosphere in support of my article and appearance on the Glenn Beck show. One would think that inspite of the constant racial intimidation by the left that many whites in this country would be just worn out and tired of having anything to do with another black person. If anything, many have truly shown their insistence on tearing down the racial tensions that divide us.

In the midst of all of this there has been minimal negative comments. The good in this case greatly overweighs the bad. I hear over and over the cries of agreement in seeing our country return to the principles of our founding fathers. The Left has truly forged a clever and well thought out plan to "fundamentally change America".  But it did not just happen upon us in November 2008, the left's desire to change the construct of what we know as America started more than 100 years ago when Franklin Roosevelt injected the first social structure of progressivism through his "New Deal". Now we see that it was really a bad deal for America. What we are witnessing as Americans today is the crowning of the epitomy of liberal progressivism in this country.

It is as if Frankenstiens monster has received the long awaited jolt of life. As you all may have realized by now, I love comedy. So I am going to use the reference to the movie "Young Frankenstien". In this film the young Dr. Frankenstien, endeavored in an experiment to create his own form of humanity. His intent was to masterfully create a superhuman with strength and intelligence like no other. However in sending out his wacky assistant Igor to retreive a brain for his creation, something went wrong. Igor retrieved the brain of an abnormal person and presented it to Dr. Frankenstien to be transplanted in his monster. The end result was a rather challenged monster instead of a superhuman. In witnessing the current state of our elected officials in Washington, it certainly reflects that there are alot of "Abbie Normals", in DC. But Americans are not content with allowing this experiment gone bad to destroy what is left of our nation.

I was honored to be among the moms who voiced their concerns about the future of our country. After the second interview I began thinking that God has a certain work for me to do in this as well. My blogpage is just my opinion about the various issues that we are facing as a nation. Although it makes for interesting reading, I am personally not contributing to helping other mom's develop their place in this fight to take back our nation. Lori at Asamom.org, saw the need to create a site so that those women who want to voice their concerns can be heard and she has done a great job. I believe that my role in this was not just to keep moms hyped up but to build a presence among moms in this country to help us reach our goals of changing this country. In speaking to Barbara Curtis of Mommylife.net. who is also personally involved in the life of moms throughout this country, I have decided to do something more.

Many women have emailed me and encouraged me to take a more active role in this effort so that is what I am going to do. On October 19th, a new website to forge the work of the 9/12 Moms will be launched. There have been a team of moms that have come together to work with me in building the site so that we can effective reach our goals of helping moms impact the nation. My role in the lives of women have always taken a mentor type role.  The site that has been develop will provide many resources and tools to mentor moms in rethinking their roles as mothers. We will provide Biblical topics and inspirational and challenging blogs, groups and forums. We will also have state groups where moms can form meetup groups in their churches, towns and schools. As a mom of a disable adult, as a mom who once held a career outside the home, as a single mom and as a mom who has experienced domestic violence, I believe my life experiences can help impact the lives of moms in a positive manner. I hope that you will encourage the moms you know to join us as we will have a very comprehensive site for the moms to participate in and become active in their communities.

The Left now has full reign on forging their progressive ideologies and Americans are now waking up to see that this is a monster of mass destruction that we can not afford to run rampant. I believe that we have our work cut out for us but we can put this beast to rest once and for all if we all play our parts. I hope you will all join in with the moms in support of our efforts to impact our nation. I will be moving my blog to the new site. On Sunday, October 18th, I will be announcing the link to the new site as it is currently not ready to be launched. Glenn Beck's 9/12 Project looks at the concerns of America's Mom's

This Friday, "The Glenn Beck Show" will be airing a special studio audience segment of the 9/12 project which will showcase the concerns that moms across America have about the future of America. The show will be airing at 5 pm Eastern Time on the Foxnews channel. I have been privileged to be amongst the many wonderful women who will be sharing their concerns with other Americans. Although women will be speaking, men may hold these very same concerns. I hope that all will tune in for this special segment. Glenn Becks 9 Principles and 12 values are those that we as American's have lost over the past 3 decades. I will be joined by my new special blogger on Mommylife.blogspot.com. A Two Edged Sword

Could liberals have been so conniving that they would use racism as a two-edged sword against the people of America. Tonight while visiting the American Thinker website, I happened upon an article, titled "How to find millions of racist". My first impression was that the liberals were bearing down on the resolve of American as the blows of racism have been posed against white conservatives, especially Christians. Then the thought hit me. Maybe the liberals’ attempt to incite racism has failed so miserably that they must find a different way of utilizing their once-held trump card. It is quite obvious during these last weeks that liberal Democrats need the race card. They need racism to work by sending us back into the racially tense times of the 60's or by calling conservative whites racist so much that they fall into that mindset.

The post on American Thinker verified the latter as the author warned the Left of their effectiveness in using race as a tactic of division. For Americans who have left behind racism, nothing the left says can bring them back to that place again. I left racism behind because it was the wrong path to take. It goes against the very fiber of my faith. It goes against the vision of our founders to see America united. It goes against the pleas of Dr. King, in having us all be able to live together, walking hand in hand. I never knew just how vicious and determined liberals are to destroy the spirit of this country. Is this how they hope to attain to their socialist views? They would at least need those who would benefit from socialism. Without racism, conservatives may begin to open the eyes of those who could benefit from its great principles the most. This is a catastrophe for the left.

For liberals, racism must have an audience. Without one, they will lose their hold on the black community. Blacks have been that audience for liberals to incite racism against white Conservative Christian Evangelicals. But what if blacks discovered that conservatives are the ones who desire to embrace and provide for them a path to a success that is within their grip? What if blacks realized that those agencies that provide the extra resources to help them get by are the same people liberals have accused of being racist? They are the conservatives who give through their churches to support community social programs. The Left could definitely use a few million racists in their camp right now. Since the only group who seems to be racist are in their camp. They could use a couple million racist to help keep blacks and other minority on the attack against conservatives. The left's two-edge sword of racism, attempts to keep both sides wounded. The best remedy to head off the liberals is to allow their name calling to go through one ear and out the other. No one can convince me that I am someone that I am not, unless of course, if I was that someone. As I see the horns of evil rear its ugly head I have taken on the responsibility to sound the alarm and that I will do.

The only individuals impacted by the Left calling Conservative whites racist, are liberal blacks. I would ask what is the Left afraid of? Could it be that the eyes of blacks are opening to their real enemy? I have been privileged to make acquaintances with a great number of black conservatives in the past weeks. Black conservatives are embracing their white brothers and sisters all over this country, and there are many blacks who may not have understood the principles of conservatism who are finding out that there is much to embrace. I do not feel like I am outnumbered any longer as an American conservative who happens to be black. I would like to say to my fellow conservatives who happen to be white, don't take the bait. Race baiting is not only used to stir up liberal blacks but it is also being used as a ploy to recruit non-suspecting conservatives. Be on the look out for trolls sent to draw you in.

Don't take the bait and watch out for the sword.

America, A will to Stand

After the response of my first blog titled “Why I am no longer an African American”, I have discovered that there are many in this country who desire not to walk in the shadows of our past. In the past couple of weeks, the people of this great nation has watched the liberal left incite racial tensions like many have not experienced in a long time. It appears that now everything is a ploy for race baiting and the stirring of racial tensions. How can the evil face of racism be so intensified in one of the most racially accepting times in our country’s history? There is a very identifiable source to the racial tensions that are constantly arising. Race baiting can only be deployed on those who have a dysfunctional disposition toward it. In this cycle, race baiting is to liberal blacks as strong drink is to an alcoholic.

White liberals have convinced those in the black community that their hatred toward white Christian Evangelicals is justifiable. Can racism be justifiable? Many radical blacks from the 1960’s who are still stuck in the past obviously think so. As we think about the cycle of racism in this country there has existed a cycle of justifying ones hatred toward another. First the slave becomes equal to the free man, receiving land and opportunities equal to the free man. This develops a spirit of racism on the justification that blacks were inferior and therefore did not deserve equal rights. This attitude was held and even encouraged by some churches. I wonder if the churches back then had Bibles to read from and if they had Bibles did they contain passages of Scripture like those found in John 3:16-17, which says,

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him."

These Scriptures do not make any mention of conditions that would negate God’s extension of grace. It does not say “unless”, “except”, “in the even of”, or any other phrase, word or terms that would cause those reading it to give claim to any justification. God’s Word said that He sent Jesus into the “world” to save “whosoever”. This does not give reference to ethnicity, race, age, gender, economic status, educational accomplishments, physical stature or any of the superficial categorizing that happens as humans relate to each other. However, the racism that arose after the period of Emancipation, appear justifiable to those who embraced it. This type of reasoning kept many conditions of segregation alive and well in our country until the radical 1960’s. As Americans became more knowledgeable, the attitude about racism changed and many whites would take to the streets with Dr. King in an effort to eradicate racism in the United States during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960’s.

I am mainly speaking about black and white Americans in this post but there are many races of people that can be place in this same case against Americans, specifically white Evangelical Americans. There are other races that may seem that they are justified in their hate toward another group because _________. Japanese can hate Americans because of what happened at Hiroshima. Jews can hate Germans because of what happened at the Holocaust. Mexicans can hate Americans because of what happened at the Spanish American war, and so forth and so on. Everyone has their justifications for hating the next group, but is it right? Before I changed my life in 1992, I felt I could as well justify my dislikes for whites. However, as I was discipled in the ways of Christ I discovered a host of problems that were arising due to my way of thinking. 1 John 4 was a book that changed my life in many ways. Today, I am perplexed at how so many people were able to by pass this and many more passages of Scriptures that would destroy anyone’s justification of hating another person. In 1 John 4:19-21, it says,

"If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can[c] he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also."

These Scriptures leave no room for justifications. If we love God, we “must” love our brothers and sisters also. Could God be talking about our blood relatives in this Scripture? No he is talking about any human being. One may ask, “what if the person did something so horrible that forgiveness is not possible?” If someone killed my ancestors because they did not like them, could that be justifiable? How about if they lynched 100 black people, that would make it bad enough to not love and to not forgive, right? God made sure He took care of every situation when He provided this Scripture in Matthew 6:14-16,

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

Furthermore God says, this in 2 Corinthians 5:17,
17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

As I grew in my faith and was presented with each of these passages of Scripture, my entire viewpoint about people changed. Just these passages of Scripture left me with no defense of the grudges I once held against whites. I was stripped completely and was left with only one choice; love with a sincere heart. I had to find a way to live out the Word of God in loving others, even those I once believed I could not love. As I continued to step out and befriend others especially whites, I discovered the most beautiful thing of all. I could love anyone, if I allowed my heart to. If I extended a hand of grace instead of a fist of hatred, lives could be change and new relationships could be built. I loved this new world that I began to exist in. The more I reached out the farther I parted with those old ways of hatred. Today, I could not comprehend how a person can hate someone because of race or be unforgiving because of a past hurt.

As I watch the President’s supporters and his Administration throw up the issue of race at every opportunity available, I understand why. White liberals know that black racist hold on to their racism because they deem it justifiable. Blacks are falsely reminded that it is the white Christian that caused them the pain they endured. They neglect to also remind these same blacks that white liberals of today’s where those Christians who held racist feeling during those dark days. They neglect to inform them that there were two groups of white Christians. The Republican who held to Christian values as those of conservatives today, and the Democrat Christians who embraced Jim Crow laws. During the 1960’s when race relations were the worst, liberal whites discovered their golden goose, when Republicans oppose Affirmative Action.

Republicans desired different ways of obtaining equal employment opportunities but Democrats saw something different; the black vote. The opposition of Republicans to Affirmative Action provided Democrats with their perfect setting for race baiting and justifiable racism against Conservative whites. Black leaders felt that the Democrat Party was embracing their cause for social justice and funneled these race baiting ideologies through the black church. Black Church leaders saw an opportunity to gain a voice and power during these times and obliged this message instead of spreading the reconciliatory message of the Gospel and extend God’s love and the right hand of fellowship to all.

In the many encouraging responses to “Why I am no longer an African American”, I noticed a distinct pattern arising. Everyone who responded positively was Conservative or referred to themselves as Conservative Christians, and the few that responded negatively were liberals. Liberals can not bear the thought of their race baiting tactics not working. They must work in order to keep this country divided and the black vote in tact. But the process has begun and we who embrace the principles of America will not be lead astray by race baiting. Race may be a driving force for the racist liberal but it will no longer divide Americans. Those of us, who has chosen to stand together, have left behind our justifications and we embrace each other as one people. Racism and race baiting, may work in the world where liberals live. But as the spirit of America returns, we will overcome this enemy within. This enemy that wishes to divide and conquer, will only bring us closer together.

My hope is that blacks that have been chained by the so-called justifications of racial hatred will realize their error, for there is no justification for racism, it is wrong no matter what reason you may have for it. The enemy is not an American brother or sister but the hatred that has kept us apart. Think about it.

Hello Everyone,

It's been quite the weekend as my full article of "Why I am no longer an African American", was featured this weekend on "The American Thinker". The response from the article was totally humbling. It revealed something very powerful about the resolve of the American people to overcome. Many express their shared sentiment with the article and their desire to see America once and for all part ways with racial divisiveness. The article was also featured on Lucianne.com as well.

It was also touching that the article appeared at the same time American's remembered 9/11 and American's also marched on the nation's capitol on 9/12 for the Tea Party event in DC. My hope is that this weekend is the beginning of the rebuilding of America. I think that our politicians received a resounding messages from Americans this weekend in DC. This article reminded also of the little people in "Horton, Hears a Who," As the citizens of Whoville were about to meet their final fate, the small voices broke through the small speck to reach the world around them. This is what I hear American's saying through the responses to this article and to the responses to our government, "We are here, we are here, we are here. And we will remain here as we give our useless politicial an early retirement in 2010.

So you don't like Chocolate Ice Cream, you must be a racist..

If you think that sounds totally idiotic, how stupid do you think it is to relate not supporting Obama’s death care to being racist? Maybe I napped too long, or I had taken too long of a vacation one year and missed the day America went back to the horrors of the 1960’s. Diane Watson’s blaming racism for the reasoning behind one’s rejection of Obamacare is social intimidation at its wackiest point ever. The protestors at the town hall meetings being called Nazi’s and mobsters are another display of their use of social intimidation. There only manner of dealing with opposition is social intimidation. The only way the left knows how to keep opposition at bay is through social intimidation.

It is sad to see that for the last 4 decades this same type of social intimidation has kept blacks clinging to the Democratic Party. Blacks in the inner city have been brainwashed to believe that their source of government welfare will vanish at the hands of conservatives and Republicans if they dared to vote in their favor. Regardless of whether the liberal happens to be black or white social intimidation is their famed attack dog. Parting ways with welfare entitlements is the best thing a person can do for themselves. These services were meant as a short term, very short term aid and not a generational crush. The habit of living on government entitlement destroys innovation and ones ability to strive for a higher standard of living.

Diane Watson had no shame in expressing her feelings toward the opposition. I am sure if she would have thought that they held any type of absurdity she would have refrained from making them. Her use of social intimidation in the form of racism was not even a second thought. As I look back on the events from November 4, 2008, when the world supposed that America was finally putting to rest her dark and racially divided past, I am appalled and disgusted at the behaviors of Ms. Watson, Professor Gates and Nancy Pelosi. I don’t like chocolate ice cream, my favorite is French Vanilla and because I choose to make my own decision as to what I prefer, does not make me a racist. There was a time in America where we had the right to stand against whatever we desired. This tendency to silence opposition through intimidation is just another revelation at the radical dictator-like actions of the left.

In thinking about these events, it brought to my mind a scene from the 1980’s comedy, “I’m Gonna Get you Sucka”, when Huggybear is released from jail and begins to walk about in platform shoes, with a fish tank at the bottom. As he walks the city street everyone begins to take note of his out of date attire, many bursting to utter laughter. It’s the same for those of us who have come out of those turbulent times wiser and more appreciative of the knowledge we have gained from the racial tensions of the past. It is an obscurity to us, of the conservative mindset who follow the practice of judging others by the content of ones character and not by the color of their skin, to think of things through the lens of racism. But to the conservative this is not the least bit funny.

The radical left liberals both black and white are the only ones who are still battling the hate filled days of the past. Every policy and program they have ever engineered takes us back instead of forward. Their hi-jacking of almost every sector of industry and its derailment thereof, is only hurting our great nation. My question is this. Why has the government even become involved in the Health Care business in the first place? Health Care is a business liability that should be accounted for in the business model. Our dilapidated business model, brought to its destruction at the hands of liberal corporate executives is just what the left has ordered. The supposed healthcare crisis is of no surprise to liberals, who intentionally targeted the many sectors of our industry to insure that they would have the opportunity to bring about socialism to this country through healthcare.

Healthcare is something we all need at some point in our lives. If the liberals who control our governing authorities can take possession of it then they can also take possession of many other areas of our lives. When we are healthy we perform better, when we perform better, we work harder, when we work harder we increase productivity, when we increase productivity profits rise, and when profits rise employers should be able to provide for their employees a competitive package of benefits. Today’s business model does not seek profit as businesses once sort in the past. They seek to control the social environments in which we all live. Warren Buffet was definitely not desiring that John McCain win the 2008 Presidential election, nor was George Soro’s, both these men have built their empires through the business sector but their desire is to promote liberal socialist policies through the contributions they provide for the candidate they choose to fund. The left have always sort to steam role the public through social intimidation of the rich and powerful.

We all know that it is absurd to contribute racism to rejecting Obamacare, just as it is absurd to claim that one would be racist for not liking chocolate ice cream. However, this social intimidation regardless of its absurdity is meant to silence the opponent and bring for the will of the left, just as in the radical days of the 60’s. The election of President Obama should have been the final nail in the coffin of racism between blacks and whites in this country, instead his administration only attempts to use racism as a means of social intimidation to silence those who disagree.

We as American’s do not need universal health care. We need to turn our voices to the corporations to whom we provide profit. We spend our money on products and services provided through the business sector, and we expect these companies to use our monies wisely. In fact, we should be holding these companies accountable through attending the stock meetings to inquire as to what they are doing with the profits they secure. Are they too busy stuffing the bank accounts and contribution funds of liberal executives and politicians? Or is it their funding of liberal social policies that see the bulk of company profits that could be used to provide affordable healthcare package.

It is my belief, that with the help of these corporations that healthcare reform bills such as Obamacare has been pushed upon the American people. As a nation we have become too comfortable in trusting that those who are in control of our dollars will do the right thing. I am sure we all see that those who should have our best interest don’t. Whether it is Obamacare, taxation, border issues, or what type of ice cream one likes or dislike, as American’s we have to come back to the practice of holding our leaders accountable. And don’t be intimidated by the social intimidations of the liberal left in the process. Speak up and speak boldly, say it loud, “We’re American and proud!”

Good morning Blogosphere,

I am posting an article I submitted to the American Thinker this week. After gathering thoughts about this topic, many other questions arose that I felt would inspire others to think about the roles those who supposedly represent us play in making decisions for the whole that may not represent the whole. It is time we learn to speak and think for ourselves. No one, two or three persons should be able to represent an individual. This practice of allowing those such as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Jeremiah Wright and others represent the idealogies of all blacks have become a fatal mistake. In looking at the viewpoints and attitudes of those who came out of the radical days of the civilrights movements of the 1960's, I find myself a stranger. So I would like to hear the opinions of others who may have had similiar thought or who may began to think differently after reading my article. Why I am no longer an African American

After observing the attitudes of African Americans and obtaining an understanding of the distinction of that title, I must now say that I can no longer identify myself as an African American. The classification of African American for the black population in America came as a result of the civil rights movement in the 1960. This reclassification held several proclamations and principles to which I can no longer identify with as a citizen of this country. The term African American was created to signify the black American’s love for Africa, the once held motherland for which we were all suppose to long to return too. This title holds anti-American sentiments to which I can not embrace. Thinking honestly about this I can very well say that I have never once “longed” to return to Africa. In fact, I do not think about Africa or even what it would be like to live there, as I have always been content living in the country of my birth. Africa is a beautiful country and it has a rich diversity of wonderful people. However, the classification of African America says that although I live in America my loyalties and allegiance is to the country of Africa. My loyalties and my allegiance are first to Jesus Christ who is the LORD and Savior of my life.

It is my faith that drives everything about what I believe and hold as dear. The founders of this country envisioned a nation that would secure the God-given rights of its citizens. The desired that every citizen born in this country would not suffer the oppression they endured under England’s rule, set as the backdrop for guaranteeing freedom for all Americans. They especially desired that our nation would be one ruled and protected by our Creator God. Many beg to differ but the founder’s insistence that God guide the ways of this nation is apparent in their acknowledgement of His hand in the creation of life, the rights of life and the prosperity of life. It is these principles of the American way that make me proud to just be an American. So therefore I will begin to select for my identity the title of American. The radical ideologies of blacks involved in the civil rights movements that brought forth this reclassification came through the influence of those liken to Professor Gates, the Harvard professor who became livid because he was questioned of his identity by a white police officer.

Those who embrace Professor Gates sentiments are those who today still believe that America owes the black population for the horrors of slavery. They are those that continue to stoke the fires of racial hatred toward other races and promote the continued attitude of pity within the black community. They also hold to the teachings of black liberation theology a school of thought that I never knew existed until the presidential campaign of then Senator Barak Obama. The teachings of black liberation theology run counterproductive to the American way. They also run counterproductive to the love I hold for my country. The ideologies of the African American classification are not ideologies I ever held to. In fact the term has nothing to do with people of African ancestry. My parents never taught us to hold to any allegiance to Africa. When my mother did express her feelings of pride regarding her heritage it was to the tribe of the Cherokee Indians. I began to think about how we all get to be categorized in the first place. I have not noticed on any forms that the category of American is an option to be selected. Is this division amongst us perpetrated by our very own government?

Would a white South African be classified as an African American upon obtaining American citizenship? Would a person who is white by color, and was born in any part of Africa be considered an African American after gaining citizenship in this country? They would truly be African Americans. It is obvious that the classification of African American has nothing to do with those born of African descent. It is a radical group of black American who hold to the anti-American views of those shared by Jeremiah Wright, Professor Gates, Jesse Jackson, President Obama and many more who have come out of the radical civil rights movement of the 1960’s. Because of these things I now part ways with the classification of African American because I hold no allegiance to Africa. I do not desire to return there. I hold to the rich tenants of faith that many of the founders of this country hold too. I embrace the quality of freedom to worship, freedom to have my own opinion, freedom to express my views, freedom to achieve whatever it is God has created me to achieve. That is why when the next US Census occurs I will be making a new category just for me, the classification of being an American.

I am hoping that I will find others like me as well who are willing to break ties with the things that divide us and embrace the timeless principles that has made this country the greatest nation on earth.

The High Road

I was met this morning in my devotion time with a rather bold challenge I would like to share. Since the election of Barak Obama to the presidency of the United States, I have been seeing our country through some very dismal lenses. Each day brings about a new challenge for our already struggling country. Those of us who grip our heart at the fierce and rapid pace by which Obama and his administration is transitioning this country to a European look-alike, are increasing daily. As Obama loses support his ambition to bring about the America that he envisions becomes more urgent. We have shouted, we have yelled, we have gotten mad, we have blogged our thoughts and views but what have we really done to save this great nation. What is happening to our nation is not just political it is spiritual. In many ways we have exchanged the good heritage of this country for a much more sinister one.

One of the things I was challenged about is my role as a Christian in the situation of our country. Proverbs 26:4-5 says this:

Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will also be like him. 5(Answer a fool as his folly deserves, that he not be (E)wise in his own eyes.

I had to think about what answer I had for the things I disagreed with in these past months. One of the things I have now discovered in all of this is that Obama and his administration are hoping for our continued bitterness and anger over his decisions. Can God work for us when believers behave with ungodly attitudes? This is very hard for me to write, I would rather be letting off steam like we have been accustomed to doing. But what do we accomplish? Our strength is in administering the love, grace and mercies of God. God is not impartial to believers when they speak out in ways that are not like Him. We have power within us to change the course of these events if we are led by the spirit of God and behave in lack manner.

So tonight I am asking all of those who are like minded to consider taking a new direction. Joshua 1:9-11 says this and I believe it is appropriate for the place we find ourselves as Americans:

9"Have I not commanded you? (A)Be strong and courageous! (B)Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." 10Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, 11"pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, saying, 'prepare provisions for yourselves, for within (C)three days you are to cross this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you, to possess it.'"

As Joshua encouraged those who were with him, I am also encouraging those of you who stand together to bring this country back from the brink of disaster. There is much we can be doing instead of allowing our hearts to become harden. How do we possess this land again and bring it back to its moral foundation and reverence and God-fearing state? Our greatest work is in becoming visible, actively involved in our local communities and expressing our needs and concerns in the public square. We must join our local community organizations, not those affiliated with a specific party but those affiliated with making policy within our neighborhoods. The greatest mistake I believe we have made is to become silent when major decision was made concerning our way of life. Our silence in past years has caused those who desired to rebrand American to work as if this country was theirs to conquer. But when we so speak it does not have to be filled with bitterness or unforgiveness. Our voices do not have to be insulting or belittling in order to make our point. We can not forget the standard that Christ has set forth for us. When we walk according to the ways of darkness we cause more harm than good. As Christians we have the most powerful weapon on our side, answered prayer. But God’s favor will not be granted to those who are not following His instruction.

When we pray, we must pray without offense of our own. There are times when after I have written a blog, the Spirit of God convicts me and I am left feeling that I could have done things differently. So as of today, I will be removing those blogs that reflect an attitude unlike Christ and embark on writing in a manner that will help take us to a better place. We can turn this country around by living according to the great standards God has set forth for us. It is not that we behave as if we are happy with what is going on in our country, but we have been given hope through Christ Jesus and that hope which we possess must be a beacon a light to all those who are looking up to us. The greatest thing that can happen to our President is that he see’s the error of his ways. But how can they see if they don’t have anything to reflect anything different. I had a visual of what is going on right now. I saw everyone up in arms, fighting and yelling at each other. We were all consumed with what was going wrong, the evil we saw caused evil to take hold of us. This is what happens when we don’t deal spiritually with the things that are happening around us. James 4:6-8 challenges us in this manner:

But (A)He gives a greater grace Therefore it says, "(B)GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE." 7(C)Submit therefore to God (D)Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8(E)Draw near to God and He will draw near to you (F)Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and (G)purify your hearts, you (H)double-minded.

This is exactly what we should be doing, drawing near to God. Not being sucked into the chaos that surrounds us. So I hope that as you read this post that you will consider what God may be saying to you. I hope that you will decide as well to put down the club in your hand and submit our country, our leaders and our future as Americans to God. He is the only one that can change any of this. Will you join me?

The Existence of God

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” And Proverbs 14:6 says, “The LORD has made everything for its own purpose even the wicked for the day of evil. I have had the opportunity of dialoging with many people who claim to be atheist, agnostics or unbelievers in the blogosphere. Many site the lack of evidence that God exist as their reason or justification for not embracing the Christian faith. There are forums upon forums available that discusses faith and the lack of it. One day after responding to a post in a forum on faith, God began to reveal some very interesting things to me. It was at this time that I was led to see the most solid evidence for the existence of God; purpose and the life.

The greatest opponent of the account of creation is the theory of evolution. When I attended public school, the theory of evolution was introduced to us as the scientific explanation of the origins of life. However most who embrace this theory today will tell you that the theory of evolution does not deal with the origins of life, they also will tell you that the theory of evolution does not deal with the functions of our solar system that provides many important element that has been created to sustain life. As I continued through the discussion with my cyber friends I began to take notice of what those who rejected faith in God were actually saying. Although they claim that their lack of faith is a result of the lack of proof for the existence of a supernatural God, their embrace of the theory of evolution does not satisfy anything either. It only gives a person reasons to not believe God exist. Hum, now why would anyone want to do that? Actually from what I have learned from these very well versed opponents, although this is not what they have expressed, is that their unbelief is a matter of choice. God is more than evident and His existence is very distinct and precise in the working of man, of the earth and of the solar system that works outside of earth.

The two great evidences of life and purpose fully correlates to the existence of a supernatural God. In Genesis 1-5, God explains the manner in which life came to be.

“1(A)In the beginning (B)God (C)created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was [a](D)formless and void, and (E)darkness was over the surface of the deep, and (F)the Spirit of God (G)was [b]moving over the surface of the waters. 3Then (H)God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. 4God saw that the light was (I)good; and God (J)separated the light from the darkness. 5(K)God called the light day, and the darkness He called night And (L)there was evening and there was morning, one day.”

From the beginning we can see that God’s creation of all things was deliberate and for a purpose. He separated light from darkness for a purpose, so that there would be night and day. In this very first event the significance of purpose comes to life. Next God says this in Genesis:
Then God said, "Let there be an (M)expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." 7God made the [c]expanse, and separated (N)the waters which were below the expanse from the waters (O)which were above the expanse; and it was so. 8God called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.”
So why does God create day and night and a heaven? We see not only that God is revealing that purpose is set in motion, but that there is also purpose in the order in which He establishes each key element in this purpose. What if He would have created man first before anything else? The very fact that our minds can quickly visualize the purpose in creation allows us to see the evidence of His existence. There is also a purpose in what He created each day.

Then God said, "(P)Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let (Q)the dry land appear"; and it was so. 10God called the dry land earth, and the (R)gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good. 11Then God said, "Let the earth sprout (S)vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them"; and it was so. 12The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good. 13There was evening and there was morning, a third day.

At this time the things that were created could exist just beautifully, but what would be the purpose of these things existing alone? The earth now had water and land and plants, God’s power to create is now evident. It’s all done, but who would have knowledge of this, except for God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. And as we now know God did not stop there He continued.
Then God said, "Let there be (T)lights in the (U)expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for (V)signs and for (W)seasons and for days and years; 15and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so. 16God made the two great lights, the (X)greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made (Y)the stars also. 17(Z)God placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18and to (AA)govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good. 19There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

God is now working in creation outside of earth. He is now working outside the earth in outer space bringing life to the vast galaxy that no man has ever been able to grasp or explain. And what does He do? He puts lights in the expanse, lots of them - so many that they can not be numbered. However we see that God has a purpose for this as well. But for what reason would He need to create these lights and seasons? And the amazing thing is that He just places them up there in certain places to give light to the earth in a certain manner. And one thing that really stood out to me is that God never said how long these lights will shine. No one else can tell us either and it is evident that God made it that way for a purpose. Ask any evolutionist how long will the sun, stars and moon shine.

Then God said, "Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens." 21God created (AB)the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind; and God saw that it was good. 22God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." 23There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

The theory of evolution holds no substance to the creation of this earth that is explained in Genesis. God gives His commands that this first life that has been created would go forth and increase. He did not say to be fruitful and multiply for a thousand years, or a hundred thousand years, He just commanded them to begin reproducing themselves. But what is evident is that He began with a certain population of species and many of those species continue to reproduce in the same manner to this day. They all began producing in their likeness with their faculties for the purpose they would serve on this new earth God has just created. Still God’s purpose in creation has not been fulfilled and He continues on another day.

(AC)Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind"; and it was so. 25God made the (AD)beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good. 26Then God said, "Let (AE)Us make (AF)man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them (AG)rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

27God created man (AH)in His own image, in the image of God He created him; (AI)male and female He created them. 28God blessed them; and God said to them, "(AJ)Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." 29Then God said, "Behold, (AK)I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; 30and (AL)to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food"; and it was so. 31God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very (AM)good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

And here we see God’s final creation and the evidence of His existence, mankind. God created an image of Himself in man. So every time we look into each others eyes we are seeing someone who reflects what God is like. If God does not exist then we do not exist because He says we were made in His image. We see the attributes of God revealed in us as we begin to relate to other humans. But we are not divine beings because we can not create on our own. Life comes to man by the power of God. As I look back at the manner in which God created all things everything now works exactly as He purposed it in the beginning. The celestial bodies that God created outside of the earth work in complete unison with life on earth. The sun and the moon fulfill its purpose in giving light to the earth because God has given man certain senses that will function with the stars and the moon and the night and the day, and all those things that work within our atmosphere.

The theory of evolution works with random occurrences it does not require uniqueness and does not require purpose. Now anyone should be able to see these things in how life works, but many do not because they have chosen to reject God. Romans tell us that this will happen.
Romans 1:18, “For (AJ)the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who (AK)suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because (AL)that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For (AM)since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, (AN)being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

21For even though they knew God, they did not [c]honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became (AO)futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22(AP)Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and (AQ)exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and [d]crawling creatures.

For many years I have racked my brains trying to understand why it is that God is real to some and not to others. I have been a Christian for over 17 years now and have read Roman’s so many times, but it has never clicked until now. We are the evidence God has supplied for His existence. Through the specific and unique purposes that exist in all things we can see God’s divine nature and eternal power. We see His eternal power in the fact that He placed the sun and the moon in the heavens and they have remained there, no one can knock the moon out of the sky and no one can stop the sun from shining. However God says in His own timing He will do just that, He has given command for all things to exist and He will give command for all things to cease existing. The evolutionist can not tell you how or why it is that the beings God created in heaven work so well with what He has created on earth. There insistence on proof is an excuse for their rebellion, because if they really wanted to find evidence of the existence of God all they need to do is take a look in the mirror.

The Michael in All of Us

Yesterday as I was sitting at a water park celebrating my church’s anniversary I received a text message from a family member saying that Michael Jackson had died. I immediately flipped my phone close and shared this information with my husband. It was the usual response almost everyone who had received this text may have had, “guess who just died” I asked him. His first response was the President, no silly not the President. My hysterical look gave him the hint that it was someone really important whose presence was no longer with us. I gave him a couple of more chances to guess who, then I shared with him that it was Michael Jackson. The look on his face was, stop being silly Michael Jackson is not dead. Now he could envision some pretty important people passing from us, but not Michael Jackson.

After the news began traveling through the information highway via text messaging the conversation quickly changed from the small talk of friends and family to the inquiries as to what happened to Michael Jackson. Another strange thing happened almost immediately. Everyone appeared to be slowly going back in time to the good ole days of the 60’s when the Jackson Five were the household name in entertainment. By the time we had arrived back home cable news and the internet was jammed pack with tributes and searches about Michael Jackson. It was as if everyone was personally acquainted with this man. And not only that, but he left a smile on everyone’s face who knew him through his songs and through his talents. Even in his dark times the life of Michael Jackson brought intrigue and marvel to many.

I had a nephew whom we had nicknamed “Bad”, after the song “Bad”, by Michael Jackson. Every time the song would play and Michael would end the song with “Who’s Bad?”, he would reply, “I’m Bad”, so we nicknamed him “Bad”. Not that he was a bad child but because he loved the song by Michael Jackson. In my younger days I loved to dance and one of the person’s I always imagine being able to compete against was Michael Jackson. I love his song “Dancing Machine”, which was replaced by his 1980’s hit, “Don’t stop till you get enough”. Today, I am really not thinking about the controversies that plague Michael at one time in his life. Nor was I really concerned about his turn to substance abuse, or the many other news flashes we received through the tabloids. I think all of us who either grew up with the Jackson Five or new Michael through his later career, have been able to connect with him in some way. His amazing talents in the art of composing, and performing music will always be something we will remember about him, but how about the tragedies in his life?

There was something about Michael Jackson that caused him to experience his longings in a very inward manner. When one looks upon his performances, the intensity in which he performs is incredible to behold. Every major crisis that happens to us as a group causes me to mature in the manner in which I live my own life and the same thing has happened in this instance as well. Everyone will be talking about how he died behind closed doors, and what really killed him, and the strange controversies that surrounded him, and so on and so forth, but what does that say about us. There are many who place actors and performers and those in the spotlight on a pedestal as if they were immortal. They are not, these people breath, sleep and exist just like the rest of us. But I wonder how many of us all things being constant as in Michael’s life, would act any different when placed in the same situation? No one can answer that question honestly because we don’t know nor will we ever know because we are not Michael Jackson, nor can we be him. Through Michael’s tragedy I have been able to see that humans can drive each other to utter madness. What if every human being would allow the next human being to just be who God created them to be? No expectations. No preconceived notions. No judgments. I wonder how many suicides, homicides, mental breakdowns, bouts of depression would exist. We all must have a very well balanced set of morals within this context as it would only result in more of the same episodes from the list above. We all know that man is not perfect and we all have controversy in our lives. We are not celebrities so our laundry is not hung out for the world to get a whiff of but we all have it.

When I thought about all the speculations the death of Michael Jackson would bring out I also thought about something Jesus said when the Pharisees brought to Him a woman who had been caught in adultery, John 8:7 says, “So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up[a] and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” What I am learning from this tragedy is the same lesson I believe Jesus was trying to teach the Pharisee. Okay, this person sinned, and what are you going to do about the sin this person has committed. What can you do about it? Oh and what will I do about your sin as well? The answer to all of these questions would be nothing. Yet we get personally offended when other people sin as if we are going to punish that individual. Now of course, I am actually talking about myself here, but while we are all going through this tragedy together, it would be a great experience if we all learn something good from it together as well.

Paul says it like this in Romans 15:1-3, “We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. 3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.”[a] We have seen there were many places in Michael Jackson’s life where he was obviously weak and confused unable to make sound choices and decisions. But again, he is no different than any of us because as 1 Corinthian 10:13 says, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

One of the tendencies I have seen amongst Christians is that of believing that Scriptures such as those above apply only to the next person, whoever the other person may be. We must first apply these standards to our own lives before we can begin to apply them to someone else’s life. So I believe that the “Michael” in all of us is that remembrance that we will all mess up, we will all fall short, and when that happens and it will; what will the response be? Our experience in this life with Michael and others, can teach us that we must remember the delicate state of all of us in our humanity. We must remember that we are all but a short distance away from the loony farm, if it was not for the grace of God.

We must remember that as Michael is leaving his legacy of all sorts with us, we too will one day leave behind a legacy. I think about if I could influence the world like this man, what would I want the world to remember about me? For me, I would not want people to remember me personally, but the person I represented through my life, that person being Jesus Christ. If I could have an impact on how people behaved like Michael did, I would want them to all behave with reverence to the God who created us. He gave us Michael and all of his many talents and abilities in the arts. Instead of harping on the wrongs and eccentric behaviors of Michael Jackson, I encourage you to remember that one day, your time to leave will come as well and when it does what will be the legacy of your life. Just as soon as the next day comes to us or the next minute or hour, someone else will fall and what will the response be?

Will assumptions arise? Will accusations arise? Will you even ask how you can make that person’s plight more bearable? Or will you start the gossip will spinning? In this God will teach us all a lesson about our attitudes towards each other and the quick nature to judge and point the finger, and position ourselves for the great stone toss. I believe that God will use Michael’s life to be a blessing to all of us in different ways as we go forward in this life. But there will always be a little bit of Michael’s life left within our own and I hope when that time of reflecting comes it will cause you to add a good statement to the legacy you are creating for yourself, for your family, loved ones and friends.

The Backwardness of Liberal Progressivism

Hello everyone, my sabbatical has been a good one. Life is still as busy as ever but I believe that I am back in a place where I can make time for one of my most favorite pass times. I have not totally set aside my blogging interest as I have taken part in the local Houston blogosphere. I have found that a liberal, is a liberal no matter where you are. The election of President Obama brought progressivism to the forefront of American life. Now that the progressives have had a full blown fête, with their chosen one, and a free-for-all in forging their socialist policies, American’s are beginning to realize that drinking at the fountain of progressivism has a rather sour taste to it. The pathway of progressivism in America is not something that happened with the election of President Obama. Since the days of FDR and various progressive movements since that time, many progressive policies have been woven into the fabric of American life. These new policies of progressivism promised American’s better and brighter days ahead.

Progressivism infected every major institution in American life. Like an oversized octopus nothing was immune from the suction of its tentacles. It infected religion, public school, government, family life, economics, medicine, law, the environment and even food and drug regulations. The government would serve as the conduit of this new deal with American idealism and progressivism was well on its way. Everyone fell for this new way of thinking that would make America a more civilized and intellectual society. Fast forward to 2009 and as I take time to assess the condition of our country, our regard for faith, our state of being, our moral compass, the state of the family, our education systems, our economy and the impact of progressivism, it does not appear that we as a nation has done much progressing. In fact, in my view American has gone backwards in the worst way.

Progressivism had at its core the vision of an America free from God and His principles. Even worst is the tendency to separate man from His creator, as if mankind created itself. Each decade since the 1960’s has brought forth both restrictions of religious freedoms and a rejection of core Biblical principles by the hands of liberal progressives. The striking down of prayer in school, the legalization of abortion, the sexual freedom movement, woman’s liberation and gay rights agenda’s are all tenants of the liberal progressive movement. The framers of our nation envisioned a very different America; one that would progress by the good hand of her Creator. One in which its citizens respected each individual because they were divinely created with certain inalienable right. One in which each person would assess his or her moral attitude to promote a more perfect union. The progressives saw this dependence on God and religion as creating a backwards way of living for the citizens of America. After dismantling the religious nature of our country the progressives turned to destroying the family structure and then finally indoctrination through the various school systems.

According to Divorce Magazine, http://www.divorcemag.com/statistics/statsUS.shtml, the divorce rate in the US has increase steadily in the last 4 decades, subsiding only in 2005. This can be traced back to the liberal ideologies of feminism and their attitudes towards a women’s role in the family and the workplace. Since the legalization of abortions in America over 43 million children has lost their lives.(http://www.abortionno.org/Resources/fastfacts.html) Before the 1966’s there were no cases of school shootings by youth in the United States. (http://abcnews.go.com/US/Story?id=3045893&page=2). Before June of 1981, there were no reports of aids in the United States, (http://www.cdc.gov/mmWR/PDF/wk/mm5021.pdf), since that time there has been over 700,000 cases of AIDS reported in the US of which, over 400,000 have died. The first five cases were those of homosexual men.

Liberals like to equate conservative principles with backwardness. But these statistics show that America has certainly gone backwards in embracing the liberal policies of the left. Is it progressive to transition from being a country that once held to high moral standards and reverence to God to one where God is no longer welcome? It is progressive to go from a country of freedom to one that is ruled by the iron first of its dictator? I would think that progression involves a constant path in becoming better and not worst. The nationalization of our American institutions and the fall of the free market as we have known it do not portray a nation of progress. Socialism is the most backward process for a nation that once thrived on free market capitalism. So what do you think? Has liberal progressivism benefited America? Do you think that America will ever regain it’s power in the free market again? I would like to hear what you think.

Could it be?

Okay, I know I said that I was taking a sabbatical, but I was thinking about something I wrote to my friend just now and decided to leave you all something to ponder. I have not been paying a lot of attention to the Tiller killing, we who value life knows that this man has taken away his share of life from this world. I am reminded of what Jesus told Peter as he cut off the ear of the slave of the High Priest. Matthew 26:52 says, "Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword." Dr. Tiller's sword was the instruments he used in sucking out the lives of those babies. Galatians 6:7 says, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap." Now a liberal who reads this will totally erase from their memories the deaths of the many babies that were suffered at the hands of Dr. Tiller, to say that I am a mean-spirited and hateful person. I really don't care what the death squad thinks anymore.

One of the things I have realized in this hostile environment towards Christians is that we have taken to much time appeasing the opposition. Does anyone win with such a strategy? But this is not what this blog is about. I am a person who does not trust the government. With the power at the disposal of this institution the government can get away with anything and we will never know, unless they want us to know. Obama and the Democratic Party will stop at nothing to win. They are seeing that main street America is revolting against their Prozac politics and the next election cycle can cost them major defeats if things do not change. The most damaging in my opinion is the survey that came out which said that a majority of Americans are becoming pro-life.

The abortion issue has been the pedestal of liberal politics and losing in that area could mean losing big at the voting booth. And they are not going to just sit back and let their well strategized coup of America slip out of their hand. I was thinking with America beginning to embrace the sanctity of life, why would anyone in the pro-life movement want to act out in such a way now. There is no need for it. Remember Emanuel's motto? Let me remind you. "Never waste a crisis." Would not this be the opportune time for the "abortion is the only choice" crowd to change the sentiments towards pro-life? America has already spoken loudly about gay marriage and the left knows that this is a dangerous issue to use as its icon.

Losing the fight on the abortion front cost big bucks to the power machines of the left. Could this all be a set up, to tarnish the message that the left knows Conservatives will use in the coming campaigns? I would not put it pass the left to commit such an act against one of their own, in an attempt to prevail over their opponent. I did not hear anything about the suspect as we usually do when such a thing happens. One of the things we know about those who are extreme on any side is that they will not cower in stating their reasons for committing such an act. PETA, ELF, the KKK, gangs, and any other group that kills because they believe its for the good of others, will stand behind their actions. Not a word has come from the suspect that is charged with killing this doctor. This just all wreaks with the stench of liberal malice. As I was searching through Internet headlines I found this clip from MSN.com:

"Already reeling from the failure to dominate last year's election and worried their cause won't be at the center of the hearings on President Obama's first Supreme Court nominee, anti-abortion leaders feared that backlash from George Tiller's death could temporarily silence the abortion debate."

Nah! Why would anyone want to silence the abortion debate? If it cost you millions in election donations, I can think of a few greedy politicians. In viewing the reporting of this incident, the media talking machines of the left are using this as a sounding board to paint a very bad picture on conservatives. Why is this suspect not speaking out like one would usually do had it been an attempt to send a message? Why is the MSM only spinning this story as a political stumbling block for the GOP? Think about it. Then let me know what you think. Could it be?

A New Direction

Hello everyone,

I hope your week is beginning on a great start. I just wanted to give you all a heads up on some changes I have made. After thinking about my last post, I found that my passion to write was still not at the level in which I would actually like it to be. I desire that my writing be informative and thought provoking, not just silly and cynical. I must say that the theatrics provided by our current administration has rendered me bit cynical. This is actually not all the Obama Administrations fault, God has His way of testing us to ensure that we are applying the Word of God which we profess to our everyday lives and situations. So with that I am going to take a sabbatical from blogging. I will check back on a daily basis to see what all of you are doing, but until I get to a more focused place I am going to leave the great skill of blogging up to all of you. I do believe that there are great things coming on the horizon that will give us great material to blog about, but I am currently just fed up and pretty tired of the irresponsible actions that are taking place in our government.

Obama has shown his radical tendencies and we will just see more of the same for the next four years. We do need to take up the practice of praying for this great country, for our fellow citizens and for God to raise up a standard of leaders that will lead this country back to the admirable place it once held in our world. So keep the wheels of the blogosphere turning with great conservative commentaries as you all do an incredible job. And I will be here to cheer you all on. Have a great rest of the week.

Can a Lakers win save California from Bankruptcy?

I was thinking about my brothers and sisters over on the west coast who are facing a very turbulent time in their economy. It must be pretty despairing to think that in a short while one’s entire state could actually go bankrupt. In a state like California, that can have a far reaching impact throughout the entire nation. Another Rhino bits the dust. As Schwarzenegger engaged in the destructive policies of tax and spend the citizens of California are suffering. When will American’s learn that the ultimate victims in a tax and spend government are the tax payers? If California’s government is over-reaching in out-of- control spending, and they look to tax revenues to pay up their debt, where will this money come from? Oh yeah, the money trees that grows in the California orchards? Not.

This is just not happening in California, New York and Detroit are also seeing the demise of liberal economics. The end result of tax and spend will always be a shrinking of ones personal income. This cycle is vicious, as the American household budget shrinks; the government thinks that it can be the sugar daddy that comes to the rescue. As the government spends more to rescue hurting households, it taxes more of the entities that these households depend on to obtain income. As consumers, this means that when personal income shrinks households must cutback. If consumers are not spending, businesses do not make as much money. When business profits decrease, they must readjust for their bottom line. When this happens the first cut is always in labor cost and overhead, resulting usually in a reduction of the workforce. This is madness and a vicious cycle that American’s should have learned from in 1929.

But in California there may be help on the way. If the Lakers Basketball franchise continues to prevail against their opponents they can eventually play in the NBA Finals. Having this opportunity the state will profit on the much needed sales revenue. I noticed that in the final game of the Lakers playoff against Houston, Kobe and his team mates seemed greatly uneasy as the Rockets held on to keep the series going until the seventh game. Another win tonight brings them closer and closer to being a catalyst in the mess made by their big spending government.

And when will Republicans learn that the economics of conservatism is a good thing. I wonder if Kobe was playing with the burden of having to rescue his state from the financial ruins of irresponsible liberal economics. He seemed pretty flustered as the Rockets hung on to a seven game series. Without the influx of revenue from the continued run of the Lakers in the playoffs the state of California would be in need of a series monetary transfusion. Here in Texas, a win against the Lakers in game seven would have been a joy to our city, but we did not need them to rescue the state from the irresponsible actions of an out-of-control tax and spend government. The steaks will still sizzle and the economy will continue on and I am hopeful that Governor Perry and his administration will continue to run this state with from sound conservative principles.

However if the Lakers winning in the NBA playoffs and finals will do the state some good, then I wish them well. Beyond the team competitions, Californians are still my brothers and sisters and if they fail, we all fail. However, Rockets 2010 all the way!

Cheat until your opponent can never win again. I was watching Bill O’Reilly tonight in one of his segments regarding ACORN and its connection to the Obama Administration during the 2008 campaign. It is evident that this organization is the bloodline for voter fraud and intimidation within the Democratic Party. There are approximately 270 organizations that are linked to ACORN in providing funding and distribution to the campaigns of Democratic politicians. As I think about the depth that such a corrupt organization reaches into the Democratic Party, I wonder, what good is it to even have a voting process any longer? It is apparent that the Democratic Party along with this organization, the MSM, corporations and unions have all joined together to forge a cheat and win strategy that will plague our elections for many years to come. It reminds me of the blog. One of the first horror shows that hit the silver screen back in the 50’s. I was not around then but 15 years later this movie was still bring screams to their viewers.

This blob comes to earth by way of a meteor. There were two young teenagers who witness this meteor as it traveled through the sky. As they heard it crash in the distance they went out in search to find where it had landed. Upon finding the meteor the young man taps it with a stick and this amoeba-like substance began to seep out. It first attaches itself to the stick the young man was holding and then to the young man’s hand. This living organism then becomes larger and larger as it terrorizes the people of this small town. Just as in this episode of the blog, the Democratic Party has found the organism that would morph them into becoming an out-of-control amoeba of voter fraud and election corruption. It is my opinion, that Democrats can not win an election based solely on integrity. I believe that they will cheat and cheat until every part of our governing institutions is filled with the candidates of their choosing.

They will employ every organization they have leeched unto to see their hunger for power come to past. They have control over our youth through the public school and university system. They have control of almost every union that uses employee dues to lobby their political candidate into office. They have great influence in major corporations throughout this country who donate heavily to the Democratic Party. And they have control over the MSM which is influential in forming public opinion. My first exposure to this blob-like expansion of the Democratic Party was in Washington State during the recount and run off election of Senator Dino Rossi and Christine Gregoire in 2004. Gregoire was the front runner in this contest and vowed that she would be the winner however the first race resulted in a win for Rossi. In Washington State, as in most states, the vote count did not result in a clear majority so an automatic recount was ordered. Being rather new to politics I did not understand the need for the votes to be recounted when Rossi came out with more votes than his opponent even if this was a very small margin.

After the initial recount Rossi wins again, but this time the count becomes smaller. Another recount was ordered by the Gregoire campaign and this one gave Gregoire the victory she vowed for. I could not believe the manner at which new votes were popping up. It was disheartening at the least to experience such dishonesty at the hands of an elected official. This was my first introduction into the dealings of ACORN. Now the Democratic blob has superseded every opponent that has ran in a race that does not involve a majority of voters that reside in a predominantly Republican precinct. Now eight months later we are learning that there was certainly a connection between ACORN and the Obama Administration. Why is this information coming out now? Maybe their little poster child in the White House is not playing alone with the program. Obama has back tracked on several of the lefts most darling campaign promises and maybe they are sending him a message as well. This link with ACORN and the Obama Administration came to light as a so-called attack by the New York Times against Bill O’Reilly eight months later. Oh, how convenient. There was no national newspaper or news station that would dare hint of negative news about Obama during the last 8 months.

I find it rather incongruous, that the fraudulent and corrupt dealings of ACORN would be linked to the Obama Administration at this time. We all are quiet aware that the political blob known as the Democratic Party has grown in such a way that it has overtaken this country’s entire political process. In a recent poll the affiliation with those of the Democratic Party has increased according to a recent Gallup poll.

How will America dismantle the monster that has been created through ACORN and many other groups that has joined forces with the Democratic Party? Is there any hope for the return of an honest two party voting system? What will America look like when this blob has overtaken every fabric of the America principles we all once loved and embraced? And finally what will we learn from this whole debacle? If at first we don’t succeed, cheat until the opponent can never win again? Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.

I love the Houston Rockets! Great job team! I watched game seven to the last second of playing time, always hoping that my team would pull off the upset of the season. The Lakers home court advantage and their double team efforts on Brooks, kept the Rockets at bay, but I commend the Team for a spectacular 7 game series. Go Rockets! No one likes fair weathered friends or fans; those that are only cheer and patt you on the back as long as you are winning. Like the saying goes, “that’s not how I roll”. While each member of my family slowly began to find other things to do, feeling that victory had slipped by for the Rocket’s for this season, I was determined to remain until the last second, cheering, shouting, screaming at the top of my lungs, and that I did.

I am fairly new to the venue of blogging. But as I embark on this new adventure, I am constantly impressed at the talent that accompanies me in this new world in cyberspace. As a black conservative, I thought that I would be a lone voice in this genre. I am however, particularly impressed with the black men who blog from the conservative prospective. These men present bold fresh coverage of the hot button topics of the day with very well thought out and detailed content. In the world of black female and male relationships, the practice of black females encouraging, exhorting or even acknowledging the positive contributions of black men is not a common practice. So today, I am going to take the opportunity to do just that. There are several wonderful blogs that I follow or visit on a regular basis and it would take an extensive blog to give kudos to all of them so these are just a few that I would encourage my readers to check out.

Liar, Liar, Congress on Fire!

It is time to get out the Orville Redenbacher’s movie butter popcorn and an ice cold sprite. Nancy Pelosi in her first stand up comic gig would but Jerry Seinfeld to utter shame. Now I can understand the deep heartfelt sighs of the Obama crowds as he laid hold of victory on election night. I just never thought I would see the day, when the Democrats would actually be imploding. This is just such a special day for me. I think I will need to get more tissue now. I am sure liberals everywhere are looking for a bag to cover their heads with. It’s just so touching to see Nancy Pelosi squirming, Obama, dismissing gays from the military, Biden, with his foot still in his mouth, gays being exposed for their own hateful and bigoted behavior towards Christians. The Rocket’s tied in the NBA playoff. This has been one entertaining and interesting week of events.

When I was watching Nancy Pelosi at her press conference, it was like watching a live performance of the “I Love Lucy Show.” It was embarrassing to be an America citizen, knowing that people around the world are watching this woman make a laughing stock of us all. Although, we who are conservatives may be taking aim at the apparent incompetence of our current administration, we should really be concerned with the path that our leadership on Capitol Hill has been taking. Is everyone in Washington just a bunch of lying crooks, trying to protect their power and prestige and caring less about representing the American people? There is no one out there pushing back against this corrupt regime we use to think was the United States government. And really, where are Obama and Harry? I definitely thought that Trek would be riding in to rescue Fiona by now. Oh that’s right Obama racking up on honorary degrees right now. I do not believe we can get much out of him anyway, as commencement exercises are in full swing. He will be back by July just in time to railroad his healthcare reform bill through Congress.

Nancy Pelosi has lied and twisted her story so much that she now has to read what she said about what she said. The media still will not call this woman on her misuse of her position as Speaker of the House. Ms. Pelosi only mis-spoke about the details of the CIA briefing, she really did not lie the MSM so gullibly believes. The word mis-spoke is the liberals new politically correct term for lying. I took the liberty of looking up the definition of liar and lie just in case anyone has forgotten the term as it has been redefined in the flood of political correctness.

Now the children on the play ground would be saying to Ms. Pelosi right now, “liar, liar, pants on fire”, there are so many liars that now occupy the Congress that the who building would go up in flames. I am optimistic that the American people are now ready to clean house come 2010, if we have a “house” to clean. Do you believe that Nancy Pelosi is lying or did she just forget the briefings that are documented by the CIA ready to sink her boat at any minute? Liar, Liar…hum, Nancy Pelosi and fire… not going there.

APA declares No "Gay" Gene

I am sure that this is a cat that gay activist definitely would not want to get out of the bag. According to a new revised pamphlet released by the American Psychological Association (APA) titled, “"Answers to Your Questions for a Better Understanding of Sexual Orientation & Homosexuality", there is no longer a supposed “gay” gene. I believe that what the APA really wanted to accomplish by making this claim in the first place, is to create sympathy for those who claim to be gay. Of course, no one is going to fault a person for their actions if they were born in such a manner, but when it is a choice then maybe society will not be so accepting.

How did the APA become a pawn in the hands of the gay movement after all? America’s dependence on the medical community to form public opinion should now come to a screeching halt. In so many instances the American public has depended on opinions formed by this and other medical claims. The country was told that it was in the best interest of a mother, when faced with a critical situation in her pregnancy, that a mother be allowed to abort her baby. This medical opinion also stripped fathers of their right in having a claim in considering the life of their own child and everyone fell for it. I thought it took “two to tangle”. I have always felt that fathers have been severely mistreated in this country for decades. Then the medical community told us that the best and most humane thing that a love one could do for their dying relative was to allow that individual to die in dignity. So suffering pain is living without dignity. We will face pain in many instances of our lives. And by what catalyst have these ideologies been placed on the backs of Americans? It has been liberals in positions of influence that have pushed these claims and garnered their acceptances.

The medical community insisted that a parent should not spank their child and instead use reasoning and praise to help them better behave. We all have witnessed the crumbling of the public school system in recent decades. I don’t remember school shootings happening back in the day, when I was child. During those times it was respect for authority and the consequences of bad behavior that drove how one behaved in public. So now out of nowhere the medical community decides there is no “gay” gene. There were many of us who always knew that there was never a gay gene to begin with, but a well plan agenda by gay activist and liberal politicians promoted and protected their lifestyle and redefine the morals of our country. The report claims that there are a variety of factors that play a role in ones sexual orientation. It can be ones environment, social and societal influences and biological factors, but it’s not that they are born that way. They may have been conditioned with certain ways of life that influences homosexual tendencies but the choice at the end of the day is still theirs to make.

I don’t believe that gays and lesbians should be discriminated against, mistreated or harmed in anyway because of the choices they have made about their lifestyle. They are people and deserve to be respected like everyone else. But what this does allow is for gays and lesbians to take responsibility for their own actions and realize that some people may not find their actions acceptable. Gays and lesbians can no longer sing the sad song of hopelessness. My hope is that the medical community will provide for those who suffer from same-sex attraction the mental, emotional, and psychological help that is needed. I also hope that the church and it's much needed guidence can provide an avenue for healing and restoring lives that have been so adversely impacted through these types of lifestyle choices. And that the medical community will stay out of forming public opinion. What do you think? I would love to hear what others have to say.

The Deception of Freedom

Two Hundred and Thirty Three years ago, our founding fathers developed and signed the declaration of American independence and freedom that would secure the freedom of America’s future children that would come after them. They envisioned an America sovereign in her own right, aided by the establishment of the Constitution of the United States and the Amendments and Bill of Rights that accompanied it. These documents underscored our founding father’s understanding of the importance of freedom by ensuring that those born in this country would be protected in life, in their freedom and in the pursuit finding joy in life. And so these documents were signed, sealed and delivered into the hands of the government establishment never to be questioned again. I wonder if our founding fathers ever considered the deception of the freedom they worked so hard to provide for us.

Just as there is a “thin line between love and hate”, there is also a thin line between freedom and slavery. The great leaders of our past forged many victories in the fight for freedom, and many others have come to snatch that freedom right from under us. I was thinking about my last post regarding the freedoms that we are seeing threatened and decided to write another installment to that topic. In many other areas of American life all of our freedoms are just a pen signing away from being a thing of the past. One of the greatest deceptions of freedom is that the freedom of one group can quickly become enslavement for another group. Our founding documents were supposed to provide a balance that would help us arrive at a best case scenario for all citizens involved. That scenario was called majority rule. Anyone remembers that concept? I am sure no one noticed that America is no longer under a majority rule concept of government. Today, minorities rule, courts rule, legislative bodies rule, but the majority of the consensus of people of this country no longer rules. Now who took away that freedom when no one was looking?

Upon our nations horizon is nationalized health care, which means that our healthcare system will be fully controlled by the government of the United States. Healthcare is one our most essential needs for a good quality of life. Under a nationalized government owned healthcare system, our citizens will not longer have the “freedom” to choose whatever health care provider one desires. Having nationalized healthcare strips all citizens of the three principles of the American constitution; life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. One no longer has free reign of their own lives because the government will decide whose lives are important and whose lives are not. How will we sustain such a catastrophic expense on the backs of the American tax payer? Remember the Alamo! Remember the Civil Way? Remember the American Revolution? Do you remember anything that would jolt the American people’s mind into the value of our freedom? Our lackadaisical regard for freedom is soon becoming our path to enslavement. Remember the USSR?

In the last several weeks five states have enacted same-sex marriage, when 55 percent of the American public believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman. It appears as though the legislative bodies of these states no longer trust the rights of their citizens to vote on such issues in a manner that they deem satisfactory. When did the government take away a persons right to vote? Definitely did not see that coming. A minority of people who desires to have sex in their own manner have been able to take away the freedom of the majority rule. I believe that a new criterion for the American people should be; do you believe in the constitution of the United States? Another very important preamble of our country’s founding document is our need for God. The freedom to worship God was central to the building of a moral and just society. We will not soon forget what happened to Governor Sarah Palin and Carrie Prejean. Both women held to Christian beliefs and were viciously attacked by the MSM and the liberal left for those convictions. What? I thought we were free to express our religious convictions in this country, even when others may disagree? I am sure the fairness doctrine will take care of the rest of our Christian freedoms once it is enacted by our new radical left administration. This doctrine would silence anyone who put forth an opinion that was unacceptable to the liberal left and their protected class of gays and lesbians. Too late, the hate crimes bill will accomplish that.

This is an issue the conservative movement must adopt as a central part of its platform message. Americans must understand the sharp contrast of the Democratic Party and its radical left agenda which are quickly dissolving our freedoms and another party that will fight to keep Americans free. I believe that most American’s love being a free nation. Many who live here have come from places where freedom was not a way of life, but a luxury to those who were held wealth and power. Freedom should exist for everyone, from the smallest person in the womb to the eldest person at the fullness of life. It should not be something that the government controls and provides for those they deem worthy. It may be that we have all been deceived.

Carrie's Courage; America's fight for Freedom

It was great to see that Donald Trump was not “trumped” by the antics of radical gay rights activist. As I viewed his speech regarding Carrie Prejean, I believe that he was sincere in his support of her, giving no credence to the outlandish actions of Perez Hilton. I am mostly astonished however, that so many Americans took to the airwaves and internet forums to voice their support for her. The response to Hilton’s outrageous demands of Ms. Prejean, during the USA pageant signifies that American’s have not lost their desire to be free. For decades the left has stealthily chipped away at America’s freedoms, bringing us closer and closer to the rule of dictatorship. But this whole incident also shows American’s lack of appreciating in being a free people.

This incident exposes how close America has ventured in the direction of totalitarianism. What Perez Hilton was really saying in his scolding of Carrie Prejean, is that she no longer possess the right to her freedom of expression. If she has no right to freely express her views, she not only has lost her basic right to freedom of expression but freedom of speech as well. The uprising in support of Carrie Prejean says that Americans are not ready to lay down in surrender just yet. America has taken a dangerous path in recent years with the railroading of the politically correct brigade. Once upon a time in America the citizens of this country accepted that “everyone was entitled to their own opinions”. It was healthy and expected that sometimes in the course of public discourse there would be instances when opposing views to different issues would arise. In that same “once upon a time”, era of our nation those with the majority opinion set the public policies of our nation. It was the liberal left that brought us the concept of political correctness and everyone jumped on the band wagon. And how could this happen when in America we are suppose to have a two party system that protects us from such practices of infringing on our rights. Maybe our so called two-party is not really what most of us think that it is.

Think about it. What has the Democrats and the Republicans really given us that suggested a division of ideologies in the last 20 years? Did the Republican stand in opposition of political correctness? Or did they sale it to us as well as if it was best for us as a diverse nation? The lefts political correctness was a stellar attempt to rid Americans of the right to freedom of expression and freedom of speech I have no doubt about it. Perez Hilton felt very comfortable scolding Ms. Prejean for her opposing views on gay marriage. He also expected that Ms. California would face the same lynching from the American public and that she would be driven from public life for good. Why? Because it is no longer acceptable for anyone to exercise their freedoms to express an opposing view in America. Not so fast Perez. We are not giving up our right to freedom of expression, freedom of speech or any other freedom that so many have shed blood for us to enjoy. It took Carrie Prejean’s courage in expressing her own sincere views about this subject to open our eyes to the fate that we were about to subject ourselves to. Are we really that out of touch with our principles that we would just hand over our freedom to our enemies? Those who hate our ability to express ourselves and speak freely are the true extremist in America. Maybe those in charge at Homeland Security should add liberals and gay right activist to their list of radical extremist as well.

Freedom of expression and freedom of speech is detrimental to imposing liberal policies in this country. In order to attain the fullness of individual liberties, their can not be citizens that prevent other groups from openly enjoying their individual liberties. For instance, in order for anyone to be able to freely have sex with anyone in any manner they choose, they can not have groups expressing disagreement with that mindset, because then there would not be true liberty as guilt will remain. When one desires to engage in behavior that some may feel unacceptable, expressing opposition to that behavior prevents freedom from guilt. Guilt is the prime enemy of attaining the fullness of individual liberties.

Christians who express opposition to the gay and lesbian lifestyle keeps them from being able to practice their acts without feeling guilty. The only way to achieve this is to take away freedom of speech or freedom of expression, or institute a new policy, such as political correctness. It is of the utmost importance that American’s wake up and wake up fast as the liberal left agenda stand above us ready to suffocate us in our sleep. Americans should be very grateful for Carrie Prejean, because it was her courageous act in this era of political correctness that has saved us all from great demise of totalitarianism.

Happy Mother's Day!

Oops, they did it again! Today, the Houston Rockets did the unthinkable again, (well at least to their naysayers). Watching the Rockets tie their playoff series was a wonderful Mother’s Day treat for me. It’s like I had 12 sons and they all brought me over a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. Okay, mirage is over. But I do see the Rocket’s pulling off an upset like the Lakers could not have ever imagined. I am sure the Lakers did not see themselves battling to stay alive at this point in the playoffs, but they are and Houston, even without Ya Ming, is giving the Lakers a Texas style lassoing. Yee Haa! All of my real wonderful sons remembered me and I am so thankful to be able to serve in that special calling of motherhood over their lives.

As I was thinking about how special it felt for me to have my favorite team win on Mother’s Day, I was also thinking about how special motherhood is to the health of any people and the success of future generations. I think about America and how it has changed and the most adverse things that have impacted this country. What I see as America’s worst mistake is the devaluation and redefining of the role that motherhood plays in our society. One of things that American’s must realize is that corruption will destroy a people if it is not brought under control. America’s corruption continues to go untouched and uncontrolled and will one day reach its dreadful end. In our country today, there exists a system of corruption which is rooted in the immoral principles this nation has embraced. Jeremiah 15:20-21 tells us how this came about in America:

20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

To me this describes the attitude of the concept of modern day liberalism. Immorality is immorality and God has instituted the consequence of immorality that no man can change. No matter what our government says is right, or what a group of people says is right or even our leaders say is right, if God says it is wrong, it is wrong. My Pastor today, gave a very good presentation on how the devil has been able to deceive many in this nation. He described the role of motherhood as being the vessel in which God would bless His creation, through the love, care, nurturing of godly mothers, building godly principles into the hearts of their children. But something went wrong. There were deceived women that began speaking adversely about motherhood, how it was becoming a burden and disadvantage to women, thus, bringing about the rise for the need of birth control in our nation. No one challenged these women regarding their assertions and they began to build a momentum that would set forth a change in the concept of motherhood forever. When the women’s groups saw that the path was open for embracing their redefining of the role and meaning of motherhood, they decided to go a step farther and purported the killing of babies to make life more feasible for women. Whenever a concept arises that opposes the Word of God, the church should be quick to defeat it. Instead, the weak and confused church systems in America did nothing. With the acceptance of the devaluation of motherhood, America began her quick track to depravity.

Another great point that my pastor made was how the deterioration of the Christian family has brought about the demise of America. One of the fastest growing religions in our world is Islam. Their families average 8 children per family. There parents faithfully instill the principles of Islam into their children and they grow up to embrace Islam as well. However, in America, the average Christian family has 2.6 children. With statistics like these what would be the natural procession for the Christian faith? God needs man to bring about the spreading of his message, if our families are decreasing while families in other religions are increasing, what would the end result be? Worst than that, if Christians don’t have a clue about the value of life, why should any one else? America is superseded only by Russia for the most abortions performed. The irony of this is how America, whose principles were built on Biblical principles, can be deceived so easily to embrace a concept that opposes the will of God. The reason that abortion sits as America’s must horrid evil is that it sanctions the destruction of innocent life. Those killed through abortion, did nothing to warrant such a cruel end to their life. I am speaking from my own experience of deception as well. There was a time in my life where liberal policies were those I embrace and promoted. As a young, scared and uneducated young woman, I too fell for the lies of the enemy.

Today, having an understanding of life and the role of motherhood God intended I am able to defend the sanctity of life and the role of motherhood instead of sanction the undeserved ending of innocent life. The role of motherhood was to be used as an avenue to bring forth men and women of integrity, character and purpose. Today as you observe the manners, attitudes and expressions of our culture, many would ask. Were did we go wrong? When we as a country sanctioned stripping away the value of innocent life we went dreadfully wrong. America’s did not stop with abortion, and introduced many other ungodly or immoral behaviors into public life as acceptable. Today our president is being pressured to consider an openly gay woman to sit as judge in the highest court in our nation. Some don’t see the problem with this choice and that is understandable because of what was mentioned by the prophet Isaiah. What’s wrong with an openly gay person sitting as judge or any role of leadership?

Immorality breeds corruption and the acts of homosexuality, are wrong and immoral. If a person will choose to reject God in their own life, do you not think that they will reject God’s will when it has to do with judging the actions of others? It’s like saying there is an honest, adulterer, who can counsel a married couple. No one can see this not even our highest holders of office because even they have brought into the lies of immorality. As long as our nation accepts immorality in any instance, it will bring about an immoral result in the end and God will judge accordingly. I am always taken by the hypocritical stance that many will assert when they want to justify immoral actions. Many have spew out how the Bible is written by men and therefore can not be accepted as a dependable resource for other men to live by. However, men tell the news, and who ignores the news because it is broadcast by man. Oh and how about the weather? Who goes outside with shorts and a halter on when the weather “man” says it’s going to be 25 degrees outside? Isn’t these things told and written by men?

So why is it okay to accept the weather “man” who tells us about what will impact our life, but not the Bible, that tells us about what things will impact our lives? Who writes newspapers, tabloids, textbooks, medical reports and the likes? Is it not man? In the same manner, it is God who created women and men and it is He who has given men the inspiration to write what He desires for them to write. Just as it is He who gives man the intelligence, talents, skills and abilities to do all the other things they do that impact our lives. It is God who has created motherhood, and it is He who will judge us all for what we do with it. It is man who has destroyed the plan of God for mothers, either by redefining it’s meaning or devaluing it.

I am honored and privilege to have experienced the great calling of motherhood. My desire is to see my children live God-fearing lives, built on the principles that were laid for them by their father and I. I pray that all the mothers and future mother’s that will read this blog will understand the unique and important roles they will play in building up the next generation of Americans. And I pray that these mother’s will embrace the plan God has for them in becoming His hands in building great men and women for our future. And finally, I pray you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day. The lefts worst Nightmare, is on the Horizon.

In the same week that Christians were focusing on the National Day of Prayer the Pew Research group came out with surprising statistics about Americans changing views about abortion. The article located at http://pewresearch.org/pubs/1212/abortion-gun-control-opinion-gender-gap shows an 8 point decline in the support of legalized abortion since August. What is so significant about this poll is that is gives credence to the conservative movement in a time when the left has written off the Republican Party. While the Republican Party seems to have lost its identity, conservative values are on the rise. Does this reflect that maybe America is truly desiring something that neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party leadership can provide.

Since both parties seem to want to move to the left and Americans are moving to the right, maybe it's time to do away with both antiquated parties. The liberal big government enthusiasts have gone too far, and the lukewarm over spenders in the Republican Party has worn out their welcome as well. It is quiet ironic in such a time as this to find that both party systems are finding themselves outside of the viewpoint of the majority of Americans. Now is the time to bring this information to the public square as no MSM outlet will be broadcasting this information across the airwaves. More surprising, however, is that Fox News made no mention of this poll in their broadcast this week. Our voices can reach just as far as the voices of those who sit in the anchor chairs of America's news broadcast. This is obviously not what the liberal far left wants to hear. Liberals have ridden the waves of the public’s support of abortion and has used this as the mantle of the platform.

We must engage those who are independent and continue to drill home the value of protecting life. When we value life we will prosper as a nation. When we defend those who cannot defend themselves we honor God. This poll also shows that support for gun ownership has increased. Other recent polls found that Americans are in support of a free market economy and small government. More and more American appears to be waking up and once again embracing the traditional values of America. With Perez Hilton's flop with the Miss USA pageant, the Dems may find themselves without a platform come 2010. But how will conservatives turn this into victory at the voting booth? With both the Dems and the Republicans now disconnected from the values of the majority of Americans where can the American voter turn? We can do what the framers of our country fought for us to do, create a new government with leaders who are in touch with those they represent.

If Obama prayed for the National Day of Prayer what would he say?

I have been reading through the many blogs and articles of Christians upset that Obama will not be taking part in the National Day of Prayer Observance and find it quiet odd that many are upset by his decision. Why would President Obama have any interest in praying to God? Everything that God holds dear Obama holds in contempt. So I thought what, would he say anyway? How would he pray for God to bless and protect this nation when in from of the world he totally rejected God? In an excerpt taking from an article on the Huffington Post, Obama said this about America:
"One of the great strengths of the United States," the President said, "is ... we have a very large Christian population -- we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."
I can now respectfully say that this President does not represent me. As a Christian I pray regularly for God to reign over this nation and that He is the LORD over the place I occupy in this nation. Now if Obama would have said, “as the leader of this nation, I can not endorse a creed or religion nor can the government establish a religion, as there are other faiths that people hold to, but as for me, I am a follower of Christ and He will be Savior over my role in this nation, that would be quiet different. I can not imagine him praying for God to protect our nation and bless us with His grace and mercy, when in order to do so he would have to confess to be a follower of Christ. A follower of Christ would never say that the nation in which He lives and governs is not a Christian nation, a nation that trusts in the atoning sacrifices of Jesus. A leader can lead his people by the principles of his or her faith without forcing those he leads to embrace said faith. So if he does not follow Jesus, he definitely can not follow God, because Jesus says, in John 14:6;

“Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

As the nations leader and chief representative, he has removed this nation from receiving the blessings of Psalms 33:12 which says,

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.”

Would anyone believe that this man is the same person that Rick Warren was so cozy with and who many Christians including high profile people such as TD Jakes and Tyler Perry endorse. What I see in those so-called Christian leaders who supported Obama is that they have shown a very fatal lack of wisdom. The Scriptures tell us when the blind lead the blind they both fall into a ditch. There are many Christians who are stumbling over the many bodies that lie with them in the ditch they have dug for themselves as they blindly follow Obama.

Would Obama pray for God to bless the nation with peace and prosperity? Please refer back to Psalms 33:12. Why would he pray for prosperity when he believes that the government supplies for the needs of their citizens. Oh I know, so that he can take their prosperity and redistributed it to the poor. One would think that giving to the poor is not a bad idea. Again, more signs of Obama and his liberal lefts understanding of Biblical principles.

Another case of Obama not really being one to lead this nation on such an important day as the National Day of Prayer. Paul wrote Scripture about it. Wanna see it, here ya go!

“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

The Scriptures say that “God loves a cheerful giver” and that we “should not grudgingly” give or give out of “necessity”. How would Obama reconcile the principles of the socialist model of income redistribution, which is the government deciding from whom and by how much one should give? I for one, can definitely understand President Obama taking a sabbatical from the National Day of prayer. I actually think that is a great idea. How would he pray about the moral condition of our country when he believes that the most precious part of God’s creation is a punishment? He would have to get around Psalms 127:3-5 which says,

“Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.”

God says that Children are a blessing. Obama said that having a baby in ones youth is punishment. So would he pray that he and God can agree to disagree? Seems to me that this is not looking really good for President Obama or for us as the nation in which he leads. There are those of us who follow Christ that will step in to pray for the hope of this nation on the National Day of Prayer. And God will still hear and provide for us, as he does provide for those who love Him, even in spite of our leadership. It would behoove the left, however, to rethink their passion to rid the public of the presence of God and then attempt to portray themselves as faithful prayer warriors. To truly pray and have answered prayer one must have faith in Christ.
“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—“”
So before my Christian brothers and sisters gets all bent out of shape about Obama’s decision to not partake in the National Day of Prayer, I say to you, as Samuel said in 2 Samuel 10:12,
“Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the LORD do what is good in His sight.”
Then again, President Obama could read a prayer from his teleprompter. Not!

What part of "New" does the GOP not Understand?

If it were not so sad, I would laugh at how the GOP leaders appear to be scratching their heads at why American’s keep rejecting them. It appears that they have made attempt after attempt to show American’s that they desire a new image, but they don’t seem to be getting it. It appears as though the GOP leadership has been stuck in a different era of America. There was once upon a time when the all white-male mantra was acceptable in American life. But now not only has America changed but the attitudes of American’s have changed as well. One of the things I believe that signals a great day in America is the message that mainstream American is sending to the GOP. This message is one that says; America no longer desires to be a nation of one people, but desire to do what our anthems, and symbols and monuments signify about us. We are the land of the free and the home of the brave, regardless of race, creed, color, age, religious belief, physical limitations or gender.

Every time I see the new brand of the GOP, I still see the same old exclusive idealism of America’s past. The GOP can not just dress up an old and regrettable chapter in American history. The leadership continues to leave a bad taste in the mouth of most American’s because their image says that nothing has really changed. They speak powerful negative overtones when they come out in their one race platform. Where is the Asian representation within the GOP, or the Jewish, or the Hispanic, or the Pacific Islander? America wants to see more than just a couple of token blacks added to the roster, they want to see that the GOP truly does embrace a united and inclusive platform. American’s also desire to see a strong and confident GOP that truly believes in their party’s ideologies. If there is only one set of ideologies then why do we need a two party system? If the GOP is going to blend in with the Democratic Party then we who are conservatives must understand that we do not have representation in the GOP and another party must be formed.

Could it be, that the GOP is only seeing what they believe is new in their view, while totally ignoring what most American’s are longing for? I believe that unless the two parties are divided by ideologies, the GOP will not win again. While most American’s still hold to traditional values of faith, family and country, many also will reject anything that does not truly resemble what they believe America looks like to them. College students are no longer separated by race. Neighborhoods are made up of a variety of families. School children do not only play with their own kind. They are surrounded by a vast variety of different races, ethnicities, beliefs systems, economic classes and age differences. Yet, they have learned that all of these differences make up what they see as the “new” America. It is a total turnoff in today’s society to see any organization that presents a one race, one class, one gender, one faith, or any other exclusive image.

The GOP is presenting the same leadership, the same disconnect with mainstream America, the same unwillingness to adopt their own party message and they think that American’s will accept it? Hello! When I attended the CPAC Convention in February, there were masses of fresh young faces, with passion and fire for the messages they believed in. Where are all those young people now? Does anyone recall the words to that wonder anthem we all recite during certain public events known to us as the “Pledge of Allegiance”, or even know the words to the “Declaration of Independence” or the “United States Constitution”. Back in the day, when I was a child in school, these preambles of the American way were regularly recited and embraced as the American Way. The opening words of the Declaration of Independence were written for the future generations to adhere to for a purpose. In the event that those reading this blog, may have forgotten what was the intent of our fore fathers this is what it says,When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, …

The Pledge of Allegiance also hold to these same truth, that in America there is liberty and justice for all, not for a certain group of people who desire to create their own world. Gays, Lesbians, minorities, aliens all have been created with certain rights that must be recognized because they were given by God and not by man. When our government exalts itself to a position above that of our God and creator, our Declaration of Independence tells us it is time to create a new government. In the last 30 years our courts and political representatives have strive to do just that. More and more Gays and Lesbians are demanding special rights. The Scriptures tells us that woman was created for the man and the man for the women. We have a number of Scriptures that warns us about participating in relationships that defy the natural laws God intended, yet those on the radical liberal left has vowed to do just that.

Gay men and women already possess the right to marry. They can marry anyone who is of their opposite sex. Same sex marriage gives gays and lesbians special rights. They have decided they no longer want to be married in the manner of the natural law and desire new laws just to be created to cater to their sexual choices. Where does any of the documents of the American way, provide for the creation of special rights for sexual pleasures? For minorities our fights have only been for equal rights. I only desired the rights that have been given to me by my Creator, nothing more and nothing less. When Americans allowed government to begin creating rights for her citizens this began the road to destruction and corruption, as men decided what rights the citizens of this country should have. And faith in God was replaced by the empowerment of the state.

It is not all lost as the Declaration declares that it is the people, those who are governed, that have the power to create a new government. That’s right! The people of America can fire every liberal politician and bring back order, morality and decency to our country. It’s as simple as that. But I am greatly disturbed at how white Americans have allowed this to happen in the first place. Liberalism in America has come by way of European and other foreign citizens who have crept into positions of power in our nation. These people have always held feelings of resentment against America and have carefully embedded this nation with their anti-American policies. They are the real domestic terrorist that can do the most damage to our way of life. I think that the one thing the election of President Obama has taught us is that Americans real enemies are the ones who run her government. We have seen the intolerance and hate-filled tantrums of gays and lesbians. They are the poster children of liberalism in America. We understand that the liberal concept of free speech is speech that always agrees with what they believe.

The liberal agenda is one that glorifies death instead of life. Our medical industry has been turned upside down by their radical death ridden policies. From hospice to end of life suicides to abortion, it is all focused on death instead of embrace a regard for the quality of ones life. It is not the conservative movement that needs to change in this country it is the move to unbridled radical liberalism that must change. It can with the strike of a voting ballot. With the mainstream media being taken over by liberal giants the American mind is being deceived by what liberals want American’s to believe. For instance, within the reporting of the mainstream media, many are told that most American’s favor gay rights. But a new poll by taken by CBS found that this is not true. We must return to the place where Americans are electing politicians who support their beliefs and principles. We should not be the path by which politicians map out their political careers. Even if congress does not enact term limits for congressmen and women, the people of the United States can. Those who see politics as a career should only get one opportunity to mess up. But my hope is that all of us who still believe in the God fearing, independence loving, freedom fighting principles of this country, would rise up to take back this country from shackles of liberals insanity. We have learned many lessons within the past years that can help rebuild an even greater America but we have to start fighting back with our voices and with our votes.

We must vote out every liberal republican and democrat, because it is not the party affiliation that has destroyed our country, it is the party ideology. Liberalism is domestic terrorism at its finest, because it attempts to destroy the America that we all love and have has pride in. America fore fathers desired for that each person have full use of the rights God created them to have. However, special rights for a few were never the intent. When we open the “Pandora’s Box” of special rights, it will be like opening up the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Gulf of Mexico to cover the lands of America.

When it’s all over, the America we once knew, will be gone; wiped away under the floods of special rights. My black forefathers did not ask the government to treat us special but to treat us equally. Women’s rights activist never asked for women to have special rights, just equal rights and equal treatment under the law as their male counterparts. Now comes homosexuals and they want to be treated special. They have become the untouchables within our nation. So what’s next, the murder’s, the pedophiles, the thieves all wanting special rights because they can not control their desires toward their abnormal behaviors The framers of this country believes in liberty and justice for all, but special rights for all will only destroy us. Stop the madness.

The Sweet Smell of Victory, Texas heads to the left Coast

The Rockets advance to the next round of the NBA Playoffs and I am loving it. This is an awesome welcoming gift as we return back to Houston. My family and I just arrived in April and to see the Rockets win and advance to the next round is just too amazing. They were not expected to go beyond the first game, but that’s what happens when you are depending on the expectations of others to carry you through. Just like Texas, always doing the unexpected. I first lived in Houston from 1983 to 1989 and it has always been the city that I have loved. After moving from Houston in 1989, we moved to El Paso, another great city. Then after finishing my degree at UTEP, go miners, we moved to the Seattle area. Well it’s nothing like Texas in the Northwest. All of its glistening bodies of waters, majestic Mountain ranges, and outdoor beauty could not replace the love I received in Texas. As a sports fan, I would cheer for the Sonics only when they did not play the Rockets.

There was a time when I never thought we would move back to the south, but I guess I was just destined to be a Texan. But as the Rockets head to the left coast to play the Los Angeles Lakers, I thought about the stalk difference these two states represent about the ideologies of America. The conservative Texans meet the liberal Californians. Well not so fast, California just defeated same-sex marriage, and Ms. California in no way appeared as a poster child for liberalism. Could it be that California is seeing the cost of liberalism and its destructive policies, of political correctness, high taxes, catastrophic real estate conditions, a deteriorating public school system and continuous problems with crimes caused by illegal immigrants? These two powerhouses may become more and more alike as Californians rid themselves of liberalism.

Hollywood and San Francisco are the two strongholds of liberalism in the state and it appears that their influence is becoming more and more disdained as the citizens of California become more and more politically engaged. I am hoping that a Rocket’s win in California would also mean a win for conservatism in the state as the Staple Center gets a whiff of Texas independence at its finest. It’s what makes Texas so different than any other state. To me, Texas reminds me of what America use to be like, when Americans embraced a love for God, for family and for country. When we appreciated and held proud the joys of being a free and independent people. I know that Texas is not a liberal free state, although I really wish that it was, but the one thing that I love about being here is that I am free to love being a Christian. When I visit different places there is Christian music playing, the people talk openly about God. I was at the bank today, getting some business done and there was this man joking about it being the end of the world. I asked him if he was prepared if it was the end. He replied, “I got Jesus, and that’s all I need”. Yes, music to my ears.

When we went to transfer our vehicle information from Washington to Texas there was a clerk that had a banner relating to prayer. She displayed it proudly where everyone can see it and you know what, I did not hear anyone standing in the extremely long line say one thing about it. Even the television commercials have businesses proudly hailing their Christian faith. It’s just amazing. I look forward to seeing the fans of Texas leave some of their American pride in California, as they take them to the hoop. I am looking for a seven game series with the Lakers where Houston will upset Coby and his highly overrated teammates and go on to win the NBA Championship title. More than that I am looking to the day that California learns from Texas and once again become a state that represents the good principles of the nation that it represents. I credit this to the political leadership of the state, for as the leadership goes, there also goes the character of those they lead. Just as the Rockets overcame a challenge they were not expect to overcome, California can do the same. Go Rockets. NBA 2009 Champions.

Oh come on people, it’s all in the plan

Now we all know that the liberals are always playing dirty. This week Arlen Specter switches party lines, and now a young justice is speaking about retiring. Does that not sound a little bit suspicious to anyone? This is classic liberal protocol. They develop a strategy, they plant their strategy and they deploy their strategy. Obama sees a path to push through his agenda, whatever that may turn out to be, and nothing is going to stop him from accomplishing it. This is just another one of the liberal lefts railroading their way as they always do. They do not understand wait your turn. Wait? No, they will cut in line and take their turn. I don’t know the sweet deal or the not so sweet deal that was propositioned to Justice Souter. But I am sure there is some hand action going on in the background. Remember, just a few days ago, they gave Arlen Specter one of their sweet deals.

One must learn how to read the liberals. When we are all hyped to the way they work, their schemes are no longer news headlines, but just another pull of the hand in their trick bag. The liberals actually doing something the right way, Oh please! Don’t make me fall over from this chair in laughter. Does anyone remember the clip of Obama saying how he wants to change our court system during the election? This nation have elected politicians from the corrupt Chicago political dream team, do you really expect fair play? I am so laughing at everyone who can not see through the schemes of these people. Just a few months ago, former Chicago Governor Rod Blagojevich and his Chicago crooks were cooking up pay for play for a certain Senators seat. I am not going to call any names but his initials are BHO. And he is the president of a nation whose initials are USA.

I don’t put anything pass the liberals who pretend to run our country. The headlines should read the newest scheme of the Obama Administration today is…. Okay, I am not going to go on and on about this. I am sure you all now get the picture. I am sure that there is much more to Souter’s decision to leave the highest court in the nation, and give up such prestige to go into retirement at such a young age. Maybe fishing or knitting is one of his favorite hobbies. Not! I see Obama’s arrogance written all over this and I really hope all of my wonderful conservative comrades can see though this as well. Desperate for a Sign

Now that all the fire works of the Obama mania is over and the MSM has nothing to drive ones falsely perceived views of Obama, what will happen to the left. As I think about the strange obsession the left has with Obama, I am reminded of a passage from the gospel of Matthew 16:3-4, it reads,

"And in the morning, 'There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times? 4"An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and a sign will not be given it, except the sign of Jonah." And He left them and went away."

While the left are paralyze by their devotion to Obama, the one, who has come about to deliver their long awaited prize of socialism and extreme liberalism upon America, they are oblivious to what comes along with their unscrupulous agenda. Both Jonah and Obama brought a message of change to a nation of people in despair, but there is a stark difference to the kind of message these two men brought to their people. God sent Jonah to warn the people that if they did not change in a positive direction their nation would be wiped out. Jonah’s message was truly change you can believe in and prosper from. Obama’s message is gravely different as the message of liberalism, brings about the very conditions that brought the people of Nineveh to the place of God’s wrath.

Just as in Nineveh the people of America are not aware of where they have fallen. They were desperate for change, yet the change they have chosen is more destructive rather than more constructive to our nation. The people of America looked for a sign, they wanted the sign that someone would come and cure all the ills of America, instead of seeking out how we as American can rise up and cure our ills one person at a time. But as Matthew said, “an evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign”. The message Obama brought to the people felt like balm to those who were weary from fear and panic over our economy, the war in Iraq, the declining housing market and the debacle on Wall Street. When we as a people lose our will to contribute to the prosperity of our nation, we will fall for anything. Obama’s message unlike Jonah does not bring hope but a burden to generations to come. People were more concerned about their 401K’s than they were about the character and leadership abilities of our leaders.

When a people become so centered on self-centered and superficial ideologies, they will become what the people of Nineveh became, an evil and adulterous generation. Nineveh was an Assyrian nation which sits in the present day occupation of Northern Iraq. The people of Nineveh became buck wild in unbridled lawlessness. God seeing their rebellion had had enough and had decided to just take them out. But he instead sent Jonah to preach to the people a message of repentance. At one time, I wondered why Jonah would not want the people of Nineveh to be spared. But as I see the continuous rebellion and arrogant defiance, corruption and immorality that many in America has shown to the blessings God has bestowed on us as a nation, I can now relate to Jonah.

The corruption of our nation comes from the corruption of our leadership. If our courts and our legislators create laws and rights that are in direct defiance of the will of God, we will become like the people of Nineveh. If one sees that their leaders can get away with corruption, or if our leaders are immoral and lacks any principle or moral code what should one expect will come of the people of that nation? Obama and his liberal cohorts want nothing good for America.
Now that his inauguration is over, and he has reached his long awaited 100 days, (I am so glad it’s over) we will now see what this man is really made of. Let me give you a hint. Something that make large balloons sail in the sky. We who are conservatives must take the message of conservatism to the masses.

The principles that form the foundations of conservatism are good for this nation and can put us on a path of moral restoration. We don’t need to become a people that reach the fullness of individual freedom. We must effectively communicate the message of conservatism. The principles of honoring God, life, family and country changes the mindset and attitude of the people and creates an atmosphere for God to dwell with us instead of against us. We are not a people that created ourselves and we must not be lead astray to believe such an empty lie. If the people of Nineveh can see that their path was a path of destruction, I am sure Americans can see where we are headed. Let us be committed to bringing forth change we can all truly believe in.

For Liberal Blacks Maybe the days of Slavery wasn't so bad after all.

As I was preparing breakfast for my family, I began to think about Glen Becks comments from the show he aired on yesterday. In that program, Mr. Beck was speaking about the racist views held by those within the progressive movement. They were those who believed that their race was the superior race and there were those other peoples amongst them who were a threat to their superior existence. One of those individuals was Margaret Sanger. Today, there is much information about Margaret Sanger that should turn the stomach of any minority or person in poverty. She believed strongly in racial purity and the viewpoints of the KKK. She held totally elitist and narcissistic views. She and her comrades were very specific in how they would accomplish their plan of ridding the world of those that threatened them in order to become a fit, healthy, and beautiful society of people.

They would carefully appoint ministers in these communities that would resolve any conflict that would arise regarding their plan. This from an excerpt from a letter she wrote to Clarence Gamble a partner in this plan of genocide. "We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." In fact, in November 2008, the minority community elected one of their most staunch followers. So I thought, why did so many good people give their lives for the cause of freedom, when these same people,, seems as though they would enjoy their lives in slavery. Why was there so much hoopla over lynching, when today, it is blacks who hold the titled for the population that seeks the most abortions? I wonder, if one were to be given the choice, what would be more horrific, being hung by the hands of an ignorant and heartless stranger, or having your life sucked away at the decision of ones own mother and father? I think that the most heartless thing is to have one's own parent take the life of their child. And why did we need Brown vs, The Board of Education. Those young people could have stayed in their own dilapidated schools and instead began the march to socialism. Today, most minorities still think that big government entitlements and socialism is the way to go.

Brown verses the Board of Education means nothing to many minorities. Most do not even possess the understanding to appreciate what this precedent provided for them. Why fight for the right to equal access to educational opportunities if that same population of people desires to live off the government all their lives? And what will the government do with there lazy little cohorts. Build more ghettos, throw their followers within the gates, lock them up, and turn them out during election season. It's about what is taking place within minority communities anyway. Why do we even need a Civil Rights Act? Many minorities could care less about the blood, sweat and tears, those like Frederick Douglas, Booker T. Washington and Dr. King, provided for us. In my view, in light of the obvious lack of regard for these tenants of freedom, there work now seems to be in vain.

Shame on all of you who now spit in the face of our great leaders who fought for our freedom. These minorities, (because I as a minority person, appreciate the hard work of our past champions of freedom) send them back to those days of slavery. All they need is socialism and its entitlements anyway. Many minorities think that the core beliefs of racism, serves them well. It is these people that organizations such as Planned Parenthood were targeted to destroy in the first place. Send them back to the slave blocs. I am sure that there are many Obama's and Jesse Jacksons, and Al Sharptons, ministers of their own destruction, who would find them a nice plantation to live on. As long as they shut up and do what they are told all will be well. Those in minority communities that shot themselves in the head long ago, shows well the condition of their minds.

Who was it that said, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste"? No it is not; minorities find many opportunities to waste their minds. Just visit any inner city neighborhood and you will see a lot of great minds being wasted. So maybe to this group of people, the days of slavery were not as bad as many thought it was, as they are blazing a path right back to the disdained slave bloc. Galatians 5:1 says this, "It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery." It was for freedom that God sent so many fighters to fight for the freedom of those who were held in the bondage and inhumane treatments of slavery. However, many minorities seem utterly shameless, marching right back into their slave order.

Conservative Minded Liberal Blacks

Recently I was at a family gathering and the topic of politics arose. I knew that the majority of my family were mostly Obama supporters, so I would not start a conversation on the issues knowing that the minds of most blacks are already programmed to always say, "Obama is the greatest", no matter what bad decision he makes. However, in this conversation, I was greatly stunned as they began to speak about illegal immigration. As I began to speak with them regarding this issue, I found that all of my family members who were speaking on this subject held the same views that I held. More than that, they agreed with my views concerning capitalism and for the most part same-sex marriage.

The only difference we held is that I consider myself a conservative and they believe that blacks should vote democrat. They however, do not consider themselves liberals. They don't want our borders open to illegal aliens, nor do they believe that there should be amnesty given to those who break our immigration laws. Oh and guns, they all have them and hold dear to their right to possess them. I was baffled. The vast number of blacks who voted for Obama, voted for him because they wanted to see a view of themselves in the Oval Office. But if they had to consider the policies and ideologies that Obama holds to, one would find a great divide. If they would consider the Christian views that many have been raised on they would find themselve at odd with Obama.
Why in a time when blacks have so many opportunities would they sucumb to a policy of liberalism and socialism? Many blacks enjoy the opportunities to live comfortably, to make as much money as their talents will provide, to share in building prosperous furtures for their children, and many are people of great faith. I do mean real faith, not the Obama, political brand. Many believe in having strong loving families. So why would any of them join sides with a man who would fund the very agency that would destroy our black babies? It's simple. The average black person on main street does not have a clue about the ideologies of liberalism verses conservatism. They see an allegience to the leaders within the black community that has given them over to the Democratic Party as political pawns.
I would like to challenge any black person to think about what it is they believe in regards to the best political path for our country. Can government best meet our needs, or should we all use the skills and talents that God has given us to contribute to the good of our society? Is it okay, to kill our babies are should we as a people desire to build a more vibrant future for future black babies. Obama's mother did not abort him, when she was a young teenager, with no husband. So why should he believe that anyone else should? Do blacks really believe as a whole that capitalism is a bad thing? I know many very sucessful black people who have succeeded in our capitalist economy.
Will blacks ever develop their own ability to weigh the pros and cons, to decide for themselves what is truly best for them, or will they continue to allow themselves to be fed to the wolves by the likes of Obama, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? You decide and I hope that you will decide that conservatism has a place for you as well. You may find much in common with the principles of conservativism.

Will Perez Hilton, become the poster child for Hate Crime Prosecutions?

I am so excited about the new legislation that the liberals are pushing on the horizon. The new hate crimes law. And I was thinking it was perfect timing for such legislation to become law. We also have our first candidate for prosecution under this very liberal self destructing bomb; Perez Hilton. The law claims that those who attack anyone because of religion, race, gender or sexual orientation could be prosecuted. Well, what happened at the Miss USA pageant was definitely an attack against Ms. Prejean because of her deeply held Christian views. Instead of the usual cry baby responses that comes from the gay activist and their supporter on the left, Ms. Prejean took the high road.

Instead of running to the first courthouse to file a law-suit against Perez Hilton for his apparent act of religious discrimination and hatred, she return a sincere desire to forgive him. Before the liberals begin licking their lips, they better understand that their own could very well be cited for hate crimes and become the brunt of religious hate crimes. A hate crime is a hate crime, and what Perez Hilton did was truly hateful. He should be a little nervous as he may be the first candidate to be used as an example of what happens when people really act hatefully towards others. Not like in the fabricated views that most gays have against Christians, who disagree with their lifestyle. Maybe one day the left will become intelligent enough to understand that it's not hateful to disagree with another person's "choice", but to attack an individual like Hilton attacked Ms. Prejean, that is a classic hate crime.

To Arlen Spector, Glad your're gone, sorry you stayed so long.

When I turned on FoxNews this morning, Arlen Spector was addressing the reporters at a news conference regarding his decision to switch to the Democratic Party. His comments were sickening, but we who are conservatives all know that this man was no friend of the Republican Party, and I just wondered what took him so long? Today, we find out, that his main reason for swtiching parties was that he felt that he could not get re-elected in 2010. It was not that, he truly aligned himself with the Democratic Party, but he can use the influence of those in the Democratic party to promote his political ambitions. I say, cheerio, to Arlen Spector. Please go, and let the back door hit you, where.... What this means to me as conservative, is that it is time now for us to get to work and build up the message of conservatism. It also reveals to me a new path in the American Party system. The term democrat or republican can mean different things to different people. But the terms liberal and conservative speaks of a more concrete and specific set of ideologies.

That is why for the conservative, building our platform can mean many victories in the future as American's are still committed to the traditional principles of our country. In Rassmussen daily tracking poll for Tuesday, April 28th, the poll found that only 36% of American's strongly approve of how the President is doing, while 31 % strongly disagree. (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll). The poll further stated that for those unaffilated with either party there is no consensus. These polls do not show that the majority of American's have been sold on the ideologies of liberalism, their socialist politicies, and its anti-American, anti-Christian sentiments. What this does say is that there is room for the conservative message to be embraced.

In this same poll it was found that 77% of Americans prefer a free market. This is not something that shows that American's are ready for the radical leftist policies that the Democratic party has adopted as well. I would hope that many more Arlen Spectors would defect from the party so that we can determine who is with us as we forge a new path for the American conservative. Mark 9:40 says, "For he who is not against us is for us", we don't need Rhino's, we need true men and women who will represent our deepest held conservative principles, and stand for us. I liked what Senator Lindsey Graham had to say on Fox News today. He is committed to the principles of conservatism and will not jump ship just because his political career is in jeapordy. But what will you who are conservatives do? This a ripe time of harvest for building and gathering in the sheaves for the conservative message.

American's do not want big government, they appreciate the opportunity that exist in this country to work hard reap the benefits. They don't want big government laying on huge deficits on the backs of their grandchildren and great grandchildren, they don't want a weak military and a useless border. Many don't even desire nationalized healthcare. So what are we waiting for. We should have our torch ready to search deep and long for those who are not committed to the conservative message and show them the door as well. This is the time for conservative bloggers to take their message to the masses. We must show that conservatives are energized and ready to take back this country. The recent tea parties should show evidence of this, as well. Still recent polls shows that the mindset of American's are still center right, not center left. Don't be stooged by the lefts schemes to brand conservatives as a thing of the past, as Senator Specter did in his news conference today. Obama's liberal brand has just taken off and already many American's are rejecting it. When Senator Spector finds himself ousted in 2010, will he come crawling back in hopes to retain his political glout with conservatives. You can bet he will. Again to Mr. Spector and those like him, I say, "Glad you're gone, sorry you stayed so long.

A New Crisis on the Horizon, here comes Nationalized Health Care.

Now wasn't it not so long ago, that I said another crisis was brewing? Today we learned yet another crisis is on the horizon, as many are frantically trying to escape the new swine flu pandemic. The liberal left and their minions in the MSM, just dont' stop. They are wringing their hands, waiting for the time to announce that the antidote for the swine flu virus has run out and the only people that can gain access to the flu shots are those with health care insurance? The the liberal left congress will make a mad dash to the printing machine to write a 1000 page case for National health care which none in congress will read and thrush it on the backs of our grand children yet again. I was totally shocked that President Obama did not have the world in utter panic, as the cases of the swine flu became frontline stories in most media outlets today. I was looking at Niel Cavuto, when he actually said what I thought, when the reports of the swine flu outbreak began to be broadcast. You can bet that the Liberal left is not going to waste this crisis.

What will it cost our nation this time? I am a little perturbed at how Americans are becoming so fickled about such things as catching the flu. We get sick, we rest and get well, simple as that. The left seems to have an aversion to everything, to rich people, although most of them are wealthy themselves, to illegal immigration, to being sick, to paying peoples mortgages, to capitalism, to Christianity, to sending people to college even though they might not desire to go, to protecting homosexuals, even thought they are the ones who are hateful and intolerant, to freedom of speech, to national security, to punishing our enemies, and so on and so forth. Before printing up the quarantine signs, however, I hope they would share some more detailed information and educate the nation on this flu strain. We do not need to have a national debate on nationalized health care because 40 people out of 275 million have been diagnosed with the swine flu. This is a minuscule fraction of the American population and the media is playing this as if it is already an epidemic. But it's definitely a smoke screen for the libearl left to conjure up another one of their socialist projects.

We must take care of our bodies, as God has given them to us to sustain our lives, however, we can not run around frantically at every little sickness that may befall us. Our bodies were created to sustain sickness and can naturally heal itself if we take the correct precautions. But is is it really a cause for concern when 40 people out of a population of 275 million comes into contact with a disease? Certainly not. They are being as geniune as they always are, working on the fears of the population to bring about their own liberal agenda's. It will not be long before the topic of nationalize health care is front and center. It is not the governments responsibility to provide every need of it's citizen. Today's polls showed that 77% of American's desires a free market economy, nationalized health care will devastate the free market and bind us to the liberal agenda of socialism. Stop the madness.

An Oasis in the Wilderness

Today is the 17th day of our relocation to Houston. We have settled in as much as we can right now. My husband is in job search mode and I can finally began doing some of the things that I enjoy doing in my spare time, specifically, writing and surfing to find out what is being talked about in the news each day. It appears as though the left are again conjuring up their new smoke screen to inject their next liberal project into our lives; political prosecution of opponents. At this time the left have gained their perfect setting. President Obama is the left’s obedient poster child, the left controls the media and the minds of the minions in their camp, so those of us watching in the distance can forget about any sparks flying on the left any time soon. They have stacked the deck and now they will play their perfectly designed hand of cards. We in our place of outcast must find our common bond and in a strange way I think we might have done just that.

This morning when I opened my email, I found a note from Dena, (aka, blacknright.wordpress.com), she informed me that she had written a blog and mentioned my name in it. I thought to myself, “what a nice gesture”. Little did I know, she went far beyond a nice gesture. I was at a lost for words at the kindness and thoughtfulness of this woman. She does not even know me. But she took it on herself to put her own spotlight aside to help someone else. What I have found about blacks in the conservative movement is that the need to put up roadblocks and obtain a one-up on the next person are pleasantly non-existent. Her blog made me think about the many other black conservative that I have had the pleasure of meeting and I find great refreshing in this place of wilderness. I have found an oasis of refreshing intellectuals who can think for themselves and desire to others do well for themselves. I find more of a pay-it-forward, attitude; as I do for you, you do for someone else.

I have usually experienced within relationships with my black brothers and sisters a sense of distrust. There have been many times when relationships appear shallow and distant, always waiting for the bomb to fall. But I sense that as we who are conservative part ways with those who have embraced the brainwashing of the Democratic Party a new sense of commonality and fellowship has emerged. One of the principles in conservatism is that we each have a gift, and that gift that was given to us by God, was given to us to serve Him, through serving each other. That message was very apparent in Dena’s blog today. I believe that as we come together to forge those conservative principles into developing new industries and new alliances we can make a greater path in allowing others to see that there is a an oasis in the wilderness. And it’s waters are flowing sparingly.

Fire! Fire! cried the liberals on the left, as the unsuspecting Conservatives in the house and senate ran out in a panic to put out the supposed fire. Now let's pass the Health Care reform giggled the Dems as the conservative hurdled to the room filled with manufactured smoke. As the smoke cleared the room, the conservatives in frustrations angrily chattered, "theirs no smoke in here." One of the conservative senators saw that the Health Care reform was being passed right before their eyes. "They tricked us, they tricked us", yelled the small group of Republican's all covered in smoke. Well it worked before chuckled Harry, we just figured it will work again. And so the group of Republicans went back to their chambers carrying their empty water pals and smelling like burnt toast.

Rahm Immanuels, motto is "never waste a crisis", since there is not one on the horizon we can soon rest assured that the liberals will be creating yet another crisis as a smoke screen to pass their next pet project. The next time you see a crisis brewing on the horizon please write or call your state senator and warn them not to take their eyes off the Dems because if they do we can guarantee that another piece of socialism will be deeply implanted into our lives that will impact our nation for decades to come. The liberals are good at crying fire, but let's hope next time that our conservative representatives in the House and Senate will not be caught with empty pals and smoke in their eyes.

In three months our nations has seen the most unbridled showing of radical left liberalism in her entire history. It was not enough to be warned by every screaming mad broadcaster on FoxNews, American's just had to find out for themselves. And so here we are. Now do you believe that President Obama is as far left as one can get. His liberal agents are having a field day driving this nation to the ground. And what do I see first thing this morning when I access MSN to check my email? Former Secretary of State Condelezza Rice is now the target of directives to use torture on "terrorist". Can someone inform the left what a terrorist is? No wait, don't bother, they could care less if America's haters desires to blow up every person in this nation, including them.

Could he really do it? Do you believe that Obama would bring Mrs. Rice up for torture charges, because she was acting on behalf of the best interest of this country. You better believe he would. What does he care about Mrs. Rice? I would not be surprise if his sneaky little plan is to bring charges against President Bush and Vice President Dick Chaney as well. But oh well, we brought this treason upon ourselves. It is only a matter of time before we read the dreadful headlines of the prosecution of all those who kept us safe for the last 8 years. The left are closed-minded, anti-God, anti-American, tyrants who can care less about this nation.

The want to rid the world of everything American, even our freedom of speech. We will soon be sanctioned to saying only what they feel is acceptable to them, and we saw a glimpse of it this week in the Miss USA pageant. Carrie Prejean was penalized for giving her opinion. Let me repeat myself here, she was sanctioned for giving "her opinion". So now we don't have the freedom to have an opinion, well we do, as long as our opinion does not oppose the ideologies of the liberal left. This should not be happening in America. But I am convinced that the events that have been taking place in this country at the hands of the radical leftwinged liberals of late, will now awaken many American's from their drunken stupor. No one believed that President Obama held to such radical liberal views. So now do you believe?

The Problem with Same-Sex Marriage

One of today’s top stories on MSN was the comments made my Ms. California, Carrie Prejean, a finalist in the Miss USA pageant. Fox News also interviewed both Ms. Prejean and Perez Hilton, one of the judges who voted against Ms. Prejean because of her answer opposing same-sex marriage. I am always annoyed at the arrogance of those who are trying to railroad same-sex marriage as an acceptable way of life. But there are many problems that exist within the confines of same-sex marriage for any person who truly professes to be a Christian. I admire Carrie Prejean and others who have stood their ground against the bullying of those promoting the same-sex marriage agenda. The church has done a poor job of presented a strong and solid defense against same-sex marriage for others of the faith to explain and stand. But I am sure after reading this post it will all come together for the reader.

Regardless of how upset or offended one may become in reading my opinion on same-sex marriage, it is a work of the devil to promote a false image of God, His nature and His divine plan for creation. In Ephesians 5:22-31, gives great detail into what God desires for marriage. It reads:

For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26to make her holy, cleansing[a] her by the washing with water through the word, 27and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church— 30for we are members of his body. 31"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."

In the beginning God created man and woman in His own image then command that they would go forth and multiply. This is the first problem with same sex marriage as it rejects God’s plan for creation. Two men or two women can not reproduce of themselves. They would have to use an alternative method of bringing forth offspring that meets the natural means of reproduction. They would have to borrow from the offspring of others who reproduced through natural methods. The greatest problem with same-sex marriage is that one would have to reject the nature and image of God in order to accept it. In Genesis 1:26 – 28, the Bible gives the account of God’s creation of man, an incredible representation of God allowing the fullness of His image and nature to exist in humanity.

It reads, Then God said, "Let (D)Us make (E)man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them (F)rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27God created man (G)in His own image, in the image of God He created him; (H)male and female He created them. 28God blessed them; and God said to them, "(I)Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

In creating two separate beings, man and woman, we are able to get a glimpse of the full nature of God, He created us in His image, which means He is fully feminine and fully masculine at the same time. When we marry and become one flesh we become the fullness of the likeness of God. In marriage we reproduce the fullness in our offsprings. When a man and a woman come together as one in marriage, then they represent the two natures of God. Same-sex marriage totally distorts this image and nature of God and creates a false god. God is not only man or only woman. When putting same-sex marriage in the same context of traditional marriage, we see the root problem. We have been created to bring glory to God. Distorting God’s nature or His image does not bring Him glory, it insults Him.

The church has been too focused on the moral issues of same-sex marriage and should be focused on the greater problem; the redefining of the nature and the image of God. Christians should be quick to reject any doctrine, teaching or lifestyle that would opposes what God has said about who He is. Those who would do so like the faith necessary to engage in an authentic relationship with Him. Hebrews 11:6 says, And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who (A)comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.In Christianity, people of faith, take God at His Word. We accept what He says as true and absolute. We accept that God created man and woman for a specific purpose. We accept that in marriage we become one and represent the work of Christ over the church. In the fullness of His humanity, He came to redeem the fullness of humanity created in the image of God both man and woman. Ms. Carrie in her opposition of same-sex marriage did what was right to do. She may not receive a crown in the Ms. USA pageant, but there is a greater crown that awaits her in heaven.

Clueless in Lefti-land

April 15, 2009, brought forth a new excitement in mainstream America. As I watched the coverage of the Tea Parties on Fox News, I was so encouraged by the passion many showed as they rallied for a new vision for politics in America. Then I witnessed “the unbelievable”, as the left began to commentate on the Tea Parties. Most striking was political leaders that passed off the Tea Parties as if they did not take place. That to me was the most unbelievable scene of the whole day. I was stunned as the left acted as if nothing happened that day. In their world, there were no tea parties. No one protested their incompetent and ineffective handling of our tax dollars and the future of America. But what should we, who are concerned about the future of America, expect from the left. They exemplified the most stellar display of cluelessness on Tax Day.

Whenever 200,000+ people come out to protest anything it is a huge message that something has gone wrong. Maybe the politicians and main stream media on the left believes that if they ignore the protest of the masses they will just crawl back into their little holes and die. Well what is actually going to happen is that come 2012, their disconnection with the average American will bring them to a new place in their lives; the unemployment line. Just as many American’s sent a message to their political leaders across America, the political leaders sent at staunch message back. “We don’t care about what you don’t like, we won, remember.” That is the message that I received as I watched clip after clip of the media and the politicians on the left bash the efforts of the Tea Parties.

Rest assured the Tea Party enthusiast will have many other opportunities to reiterate their messages to their prospective leaders, but the greatest message of all will not come until these same politicians find themselves without a seat in their State and Federal governing bodies. The only thing that I have learned that politicians understand is that votes count. If they are losing they will beg, plead and cry for a chance to prove that they can do better. And if they win, it is not long, before they forget how they won. Even President Obama, dismissed the efforts of the Tea Party participants, forgetting that some of these very people elected him into office. But votes speak volumes to politicians and to political parties. Some are pushing for the creation of a third party, but a third party will only bring more frustration if the problem of voting for clueless and disconnected politicians is not resolved.

As I looked at the various news clips of the Tea Parties, I did not see a movement that was party related. These people were brought together because of the decline in the respect for the foundational principles of America. But the politicians and media elite on the left is clueless to what that means. They have no regard for the foundational principles of America. In fact, they believe that these principles are the causes of many problems that exist between America and many other nations. They will do all they can do in these years of being in power to destroy the foundational principles of this country. These Tea Parties must go further and must become focused and precise as to what they really intend to accomplish. The message must reach deeper and wider into American households.

The left has indoctrinated the citizens of America to believe that the foundational principles on which America was built are bad, so there is much work to be done in reversing the mindset in this country. In this situation being clueless on the left may not be a bad thing. As many open their eyes to the rejection of their political leaders the message of the Tea Parties will gain ground. I guess there is something to appreciate about those who are clueless in lefti-land.

The Left Continues to reveal Intellectual Incompetence

This is a late comment concerning an article Newsweek magazine ran March concerning "The end of Christianity in America." As I stated in an earlier blog, the liberal left is set on bringing about an anti-Christian attitude in this country. Here is an expert from the opening of this article,

Since when does 15 percent out of 100 marks the end. What this article does not say is that many Christians like myself do not allign themselves to religious organizations. It amazes me more how the church is motivated by what liberals say. There are still 85 percent of Americans that do claim to some religious affiliation, but I guess no one was looking at that statistic and the left would not dare expose that. Christianity is not dead, because Newsweek says it is. In fact, it will not die, and those on the left may have had pleasure in reading this article but it is a false hope at best.

It is great to see that after years of trying to destroy the Christian foundations in this country all the left can claim victory for is 7 percent. This would show not that Christianity in this country has declined but that many have changed their concept of what religious affiliation actually means. For me, Christianity is not a religion it is a relationship with Christ and it is in the manner in which I live my life not follow a set of rules and rituals, that I live out my faith. For Newsweek, no religious affiliation meant something totally different. They apparently believe that everyone associates Christianity with religion and that defiinitely is not the case.

I would hope that the pollsters at Newsweek would go back and ask what "no religious affiliation" actually means to the individual. They may find that their time of celebration is very short lived. However, this shows the intellectual incompetence of the liberal left and the media that has bowed down to their ideologies. Do they realize that 15 percent of a whole does not equal a majority. Are they too close minded to understand that those who can think beyond what the media tells them to think will see through their scheme. Just as in November a 4 point win by Obama rendered a landslide, I am not at all surprised that a 15% decline in religious affiliation, to the left means the death of Christianity in America. It's the left in their mode of denial.

Could we have been victims of Financial Terrorism

It appears that the financial mishaps of our leaders in Washington DC have been quickly forgotten. The ballots, the stimulus packages, the appointments, the housing crisis, all have seemed to have overshadowed a very sinister scheme. In thinking about this whole financial situation we have experienced, I was taken back to the events of 9/11 and was thinking how we were all stunned about the terrorism that happened on American soil that day. The terrorist on that day hit major icons of American life. They wanted to hit Americans by what we depended on the most. I guess that is why they did not target the churches. Money, wealth, power are the new icons of American life. Everything about being successful today is centered around the value of ones net worth.

Terrorism is something we leave to the Islamic terrorist to bring about right? Remember, Timothy McVeigh, or the Weather Underground, or the many terrorist cells within our borders that has no Islamic associations whatsoever. As our nations fundementals changes, so does the tactics of America's enemies within. As I researched the definition of terrorism, I found that there are many variations of what law enforcement and government officials view as terrorism. The FBI uses this: "Terrorism is the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives." The U.S. Department of State defines "terrorism" to be "premeditated politically-motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by sub-national groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.Outside the United States Government, there are greater variations in what features of terrorism are emphasized in definitions.

The United Nations produced this definition in 1992; "An anxiety-inspiring method of repeated violent action, employed by (semi-) clandestine individual, group or state actors, for idiosyncratic, criminal or political reasons, whereby - in contrast to assassination - the direct targets of violence are not the main targets." Do you think that an intelligent person would not realize that, if you sold bad securities to investors that were being backed by individuals who had no means of making good on these securities, that eventually this would bring forth a financial disaster? Could this be a planned event perpetrated by individuals (American politicians), to bring fear to Americans toward capitalism, thereby bringing forth their plan of socialism? How else can socialism exist, unless the concept of capitalism was seen as a utter failure? A plan failure preempted to bring fear in their audience of the financial losses by those that Wall Street harmed the most. I find it odd that most of those who benefited from the bad loan practices are those who have radical liberal views about socialism.

Many are a part of the radical 60's movement that believed that America was and still is a country that is responsible for the abuses and oppression of many nations. Now no one was blown up by these irresponsible acts, but how many people were impacted emotionally, mentally and financally. How many people were thrown into financial distress as the reality of actually having to pay real mortgages for overpriced homes set in? How many homeowners were impacted as they saw their home values plummet because of the massive foreclosures. Terrorism brings forth fear, would you say that there are many Americans who now has fears about the well being of Americas financial future?And now these bad securities have begun to affect almost every sector of America's economic system. Each week we hear of a new bailout being talked about in Congress. And where are the perpetrators? Waiting to take over the White House, holding powerful seats in the Senate, living high off their huge executive payoffs, and others are blaming the current adminstration. Could it be that we have just experienced one of the most well executed terrorist plots from within? So brilliantly executed that the players would even be rewarded by the American people as the perpetrators acts bring financial harm to the masses. Could it be?

How the Democratic Party deceives minority into embracing liberalism

It appears that the conservative party may be getting its grove back, since the dems have taken control of all branches of powers on capitol hill. The dems weaknesses has been exposed to the those who once thought that it was the conservatives that had lost their way. It now appears both parties had lost their ways but the party in power is always the one on whom the light most brightly shines. The dems have been successful in pinning down a very loyal faction of their party and that is minorities. Conservative must not stop at just winning back their base but winning all who would embrace their priniciples. There are many factions of the conservative movement where those who may not have traditionally associated themselves with the conservatism can find commonality.

With all of these factions within the conservative movement there should be a place for a wide variety of people, especially minorities. As a result of Obama’s candidacy many blacks now label themselves as liberals, because the Dems have now packaged their ideology in a way that causes minorities to believe that liberalism and socialism are mutually inclusive. However, they are not. The ideologies focus on two different set of viewpoints. I am by no means embracing socialism, but understand that those in minority populations believe that conservative have no compassion for their plight. This is totally not the case.

Conservatism is good for our country. Its ideologies promote faith, empowerment, integrity, character, hard work, charity and prosperity. These attributes are good for mankind and can move America to become an even greater country.For many years the black community and other minority communities have treated the conservative message with disdain and suspicion. However, there is a place in the conservative movement for all minorities when the message is presented correctly. The Democratic Party under the premise of liberalism has used the ideology of socialism to foster an expectation of entitlement, in minority communities. The conservative movement and the Republican Party can repackage the ideology of social conservatism to foster economic empowerment. The key to bridging the divide between minorities and the Republican Party is exposing the deception of the Democratic Party in making minorities believe that liberalism and socialism are mutually inclusive.Within these communities lies the church which, like in the conservative movement is very essential.

All Christian churches teach a very specific set of beliefs, life is sacred, marriage is sacred, morality is key to the success of any nation; we must care for the sick, poor and the widow and treat our neighbors as ourselves. Black churches, Asian churches, Hispanic churches, all teach these same principles, yet, many of these same people voted for a Presidential candidate that in no way, shape or form shares their values of faith, life and morality. Because of the message of socialism that has been packaged by Dems within the confines of socialism, most minorities believe that they can not have social justice without being liberal. The Republican Party within the confines of conservatism must communicate that it is in fact possible to achieve social justice without embracing the destructive principles of liberalism.Most minorities are traditionalist as in they embrace the traditional foundations on which America was built. They embrace the concept of family and the sanctity of life. They also embrace the concept of the neoconservatives in their commitment to adhering to our countries constitution. Most minorities hold strong religious beliefs and have many things in common with the Religious Right faction of the Republican Party.

They are committed to the ideologies of social conservatives, national security and to being fiscally responsible. The problem lies in their thinking that embracing liberalism is the only manner of achieving social justice and actually liberalism and socialism are two very different concepts.The principles of liberalism must be exposed for its, anti-Christian, anti-American, anti-constitutional, anti-national defense, anti everything that has to do with the foundations of our American values. Rick Santorin in this speech on Friday morning at CPAC, made a very profound statement of how liberalism exploits the establishment clause within our constitution. I will attempt to paraphrase what he said, but it was to the effect that the constitution was not intended to protect the government from religions but to protect religions from the government.

At the heart of liberalism is the desire to create the government as the sole source of authority. The government is not to create rights that are in opposition to what God has given us but to uphold those rights and to exist within the confines of those rights. We must communicate to minorities that in embracing the Dems socialist policies they are also embracing their anti-Christian policies that are in direct opposition of what they profess to believe.This is the message that must begin to be communicated to our church and civic leaders in minority communities. These leaders must understand how socialism and liberalism are actually exclusive of each other. They must understand the destructive principles of liberalism and the commonality that is shared within the faction of social conservatism within the Republican Party and minority communities. Within the book, “The Future of Conservatism”, a discussion of the socialism of the two Bush Administrations was discussed. I never thought that socialism could exist with conservatism.

I have been one to believe as many in minority communities do, that socialism was solely owned by liberals. We know now the huge spending that began within the first Bush Administration and the huge spending bills that continued within Bush II. The positive principles of social conservatism to minority communities must be emphasized while the negative principles of socialism are exposed. However we can not stop there, we must have solutions in place that will send a definite message to minority communities. I realized that within the conservative faction of the Republican Party, that there is definitely a place for the many minorities who need the resources that social conservatism can provide.

Liberalism and the Spirit of the Antichrist

Today is a rainy day in Houston, but it’s a good day to take time to write my first blog post. I have been thinking a lot lately of the events that have taken place in our country. The election of the nation’s first Black president brought lots of hoopla to our country’s electorate and many thought that our nation was headed for change everyone could believe in. Well, 89 days after President Obama’s inauguration many have been rendered confused by his totally liberal, socialist and left winged decisions. This should however come as no surprise to those who are alert and aware of the things that must take place on this earth. As a Christian, I believe in the accounts of end-time events spoken of in the Bible. I believe that as God has set all things on its course they will all come to pass and I believe that the foundations necessary for these events to take place have been laid.

Liberalism and all of its flavors provide the necessary workings for the Biblical end time events spoken of in the Bible to take place. 1 John 2:18-19 says, “18Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. 19They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us.

1 John 2:18-19, speaks about those who had started in the faith but then veered to other teachings, not remaining true to the message that Christ had given for us to believe. Now many see one concept of the anti-Christ, which is a person who will rise up and lead many into following the devil. That would be an easy thing for many to look out for because his actions will be evident when he arrives. What has been taking place, however, since the time that the church began, is the mindset and spirit of the antichrist. All things that oppose the message of the Bible and its teachings about Christ is anti-Christ. Jesus also tells us that even Christians will fall into the deception that will be in full force in the end of days. In Matthew 24:24-25, Jesus gives the following warning, “24"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. 25"Behold, I have told you in advance.

At the core of the concept of liberalism is liberty. It began as a movement that respected that humanity had been given certain rights by God which man nor the government had no right to control or regulate. Many efforts to revise and reform the concept of liberalism have provided us with the “new” flavor of liberalism that exists today. The concept of liberalism have transformed from a viewpoint where man has been created with certain rights by God to one where man, should be completely separated from the authority of God, and the government will now fulfill the role of God. But it is a detour that had to be taken in order for the things of the end to take place.

It was inevitable that America, the bastion of Christianity would be infiltrated by the anti-God teachings of liberalism. The plan of how the American mind would be saturated through liberalism has worked like clockwork. Through the use of the public school, university -college system and even some churches, liberalism have now been embraced by a large segment of the American population. We have now become a society where in most cases the Bible is not the authority by which one should live their lives. Obama holds very anti-Christian beliefs. Pitting man against God through liberal ideologies makes it very convenient for the person of the Anti-Christ to take power. Obama is presently building relationships with powers that have been America’s enemies for decades. Why? America now has a leadership that embraces the anti-Christian sentiments of these countries. Muslims hate America because of their support for Israel. Cuba hates America because of our stand against the socialist – communist views they hold. The same with Venezuela, but they embrace Obama because he is as socialist, and liberal as they are. An America awaits the transfer of her sovereignty to the will of anti-Christian nations.

Revelations speaks of a time when all the powers of the earth will fall prey to the rule of an institution of immorality. Liberalism embraces immorality in many forms. Abortion, homosexuality, same-sex marriage and welfare are policies of liberalism that pits itself in direct opposition of Christian teachings. There are those who profess to be Christian, yet at the same time support anti-Christian ideologies such as these. How easily it will be for these to accept the mark of the anti-Christ, as they have accepted the mind and the spirit of the anti-Christ. The saddest thing about this is that Christians are not even aware that they have accepted anti-Christian beliefs. Liberalism and self rule has convinced many to believe that it’s fashionable to reject, what it considers “out-of-date” ideologies of the Bibles. For the Christian that has not been bamboozled by liberalism the Bible is still the final word. Jesus and His Apostles warned us of this time when the spirit of anti-Christian sentiments would be upon us and as we look at our nation their prophecies are vividly coming to past.

It is at this crucial time in the history of Biblical events that we must take heed to the things we embrace and believe for the spirit of the antichrist is upon us. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. 1 John 4:2-3
